Percy POV
From the moment  Gaea was defeated Percy knew something was different.Everyone was busy fighting monsters to notice a fiery Leo on Festus' back and fly with her, except for Percy.He quickly ran to the lake .Piper saw him and realizing what he was going to do followed him."Percy wait!"He turned and faced her"what?"he asked her a bit impatiently."I can help"she said "How?""I can charmspeak her , coerce her to sleep""fine"Together they  jumped in and using the water like a rising platform,they shot towards Leo.Gaea was trying to dissolve back to the ground but Percy wouldn't let her.He swirled the water around turning her Sandy form to mud, forcing her to reform and take a more solid form.Leo blasted her with massive fireballs filling the air with the smell of burning soil
"Gaea, come on isn't all this just pointless?"Piper said her voice although not loud filling the air around them"Aren't you just tired?"
"Quiet girl, your voice will not work on me,I am a primordial!"Gaea shouted
Piper however did not quieten"I know,but aren't you tired,i mean you've helped your son's reform faster,made countless number of earthborns,been working tirelessly to upturn the gods, surely that must be tiring,not to mention watching your children get obliterated by the gods.. TWICE!!..that must have left you frustrated"
"No..I ..I will not be manipulated by a mortal!"Gaea shouted covering her ears.She sent a blast of sand at her but a shield of water rose and blocked it.
"Piper you might wanna wrap this up"Percy said.The strain of keeping them on air using the water was Makin him dizzy.Piper nodded and faced Gaea once more"you know this will all be over if you just let go,relax,and let sleep take over "
"No!"Gaea shouted but the effect of Piper's charmspeak was too powerful.Her eyes were already dropping and her muscles turning to jelly."That's right sleeeeep"Gaea's eyes closed and her breathing became more relaxed
Leo who had been watching all that quietly finally spoke"nice job guys but i'll take it from here"
"Leo what are you talking about"Piper asked
"To storm or fire the world must fall"Leo simply answered his whole body burning vigorously
"Leo don't even thin...
"Sorry beauty queen but it's my job...it can't be anyone elses"
"Leo!"Piper shout but before she could say anything else Leo shot a fireball towards Percy.That effectively broke his concentration and the swirling water platform collapsed sending both of them tumbling downward.
