Skill Level Up:

Reading Lvl: 4

XP:100/250

How well you can read and how much you understand.

Current Understanding: 25%

I had been reading for the past several hours. It was relieving to finally understand a small amount from books. Every time it leveled up it had given me a 10% up in understanding.

With that, I decided to leave and try to level up the observation skill. I exited the library and saw several Freshmen walking around campus. Which I decided to use observation on. It just showed Jacob Fullman, Katie Moore, and Tommy Johnson.

Skill Level Up:

Observation Lvl:2

XP: 50/100

Observation now shows the targets, name, level, title, race, and stats.

That was something that excited me. I could see everyone's stats. With that, I went to the dorm and closed the door behind me. I thought about what else game characters had. I thought that all the characters had an inventory.

"Inventory"

Then a 5-foot long screen popped up in front of me. I grabbed my bag and threw it in the space. A small square appeared where there was a small picture of the back-pack I threw in. I closed the screen by swiping my hand through it. I just noticed Grover wasn't there. I went through the building. I hadn't seen him anywhere. I stopped at the weight room and decided to see if I couldn't up my Strength stat. So I started to do several pull-ups, and start to bench until I got exhausted.

An effect has been activated: Muscle Exhaustion:

Causes a -15% and pain when making your body do any fast or heavy movement chance to every skill. Effect disappears after 30 Minutes.

I almost jumped at the realism effect in the 'Game' as I took to calling my new ability. Though as I swiped it away there was something under it.

Due to lifting heavy weights you have gained +2 Str.

I then thought to myself, to see if it worked, 'Status.'

Living a boring normal life

Yes/No

I sighed and pressed yes. The box shimmered away and I just sat there dumbfounded, I was able to get 1,000 XP that was double what I needed to level up. I got up and started to move around the campus. I started walking around until I saw a glowing blue symbol inside the boy's locker room when its door was slightly ajar. I opened the door and stepped inside.

I looked to my left and there it was, A glowing blue Delta symbol I remembered being taught in Mr. Brunner's class. I used the skill observe on it

Entrance to the Labyrinth:

The Labyrinth is a maze like sentient structure made by Daedelus to imprison the Minotaur, he was later thrown into the Labyrinth by King Minos.

Are you sure you would like to enter this dungeon,
Yes/No

I thought about the consequences and pressed no. I had no weapons and if this was like actual games there could be high leveled monsters in there including the Minotaur as it said in the description.

I figured I'd need some type of weapon to go crawling through dungeons. Though I had gotten curious.

The large amount of Greek references in my life have had me baffled. Grover being a satyr, something that I guessed to be a centaur in Mr. Brunner's classroom, and now the Labyrinth  was inside the boys locker room.
I went around the school to Mr. Brunner's office. As I stepped inside I noticed he wasn't there. I almost turned around until my curiosity got the best of me.

I started using Observe on the objects around the room, until I landed on something that peaked my interest.

Sitting in the middle of his desk was a regular looking fountain pen.  Though as I brushed over it with the Observation skill it appeared as a special title.

Legendary Weapon:
Riptide

Riptide is a mystical weapon which can be disguised as a normal household object such as a pen or hairpin. Though if uncapped in its pen form it grows to a 3 foot long leaf shaped blade.

The blade was originally owned by Zoë Nightshade.

When used by a Demi-god of the Sea it's damage is increased by 300%

With that being all I needed to be convinced I grabbed the pen, put it into my inventory and walked towards the Labyrinth.
