~Percy's Pov~

I sighed as I stood in the Dark Forest, I had just beaten the Cyclopses. I waited for the Chimera to spawn. However, when the Chimera didn't spawn I had begun to wander. I headed towards the direction of the battle that I watched from the trees. When I got there nobody was there, just some craters, dust, and remains of arrows and other weapons.

But I could hear the faint sound of metal clashing in the distance.

Yes/No

The quest was something I had to do, not because of the rewards but because of the failure so I pressed Yes. I began to run towards the sound. When I got there it was the secret base that the future humans had, and it was being attacked. I stepped into the fray and got in front of what seemed to be the man leading the charge.

The man leading the army was tall, maybe about 6' 9", wearing a red suit, with blonde hair and fire in his eyes. He held a sword that dripped lava off of the tip. Before I could even react he batted me aside with his hand. Next thing I knew I was a good ways away from the main battle. The man who hit me was walking towards me, his suit now becoming an intimidating armor.

"Finally, their little demi-god appears, been a while since I had a good fight," He said as he spun his sword. Before I could respond he charged me with a yell. I brought my Trident up to block his attack, however, his overhead strike was strong enough to catch me off guard. The Trident was knocked from my hands and clattered to the dirt.

I jumped to the side to dodge any incoming attacks, one managed to graze me though and I felt a burning sensation appear in my side. I activated Super Strength and charged him when I punched at him I was surprised when he managed to catch it. He smirked at me under his helmet and threw me over his head.

"Shame, I was hoping you'd be a better challenge," He then brought his sword up to execute me. I used Shadow Travel and appeared next to my Trident which I was quickly able to recover.

"Hm, so you learned more than simple water moves, this may be better than I first thought," I scowled under my helmet. As I stabbed at him he locked his blade in between the prongs of my Trident. He brought up my Trident so we were face to face.

His sword lit up in flames and the flames slowly crept up my weapon. I backed away and pulled away from the lock. I called upon the nearby water source, thankful that there were pipes underneath the ground. As the pipes burst and water began to spray from the ground. The man's eyes seemed to dim. Though I wasn't able to capitalize on the situation because I was launched back by the man bursting into flames.

He charged towards me and I was thrown through a tree. I sat up groggily, my back ached even with the armor. I pushed myself off the ground. The warm feeling of my blood crept on my chest. I forced myself up with the trident, I leaned all of my weight on the trident as to not fall over.

I gathered all of the water nearby, even the moisture in the air, and forced it all to collide with the man. This caused me to feel even more drained and tired, he, however, was not so lucky, he slammed through several trees and even crushed some of his soldiers. This didn't seem to be enough though because he got back up, although looking quite hurt and in pain, he still got up. Golden Ichor seeped through multiple open wounds on his body.
