A Little Birthday Training

I stood there covered in monster dust, I had just destroyed the Hydra and Hellhounds. The Hydra's head regrowing problem didn't last long because of my Fire Manipulation. I attempted to catch my breath, though I had completely exhausted my body. 'Extreme Muscle Exhaustion' had already been activated. When pressed 'Leave' I was greeted by the familiar smell of the Poseidon Cabin.

I looked at the nearby alarm clock and saw it was already 10 pm. I pulled out my Fang of the Lion and started to look it over. It was something that could be useful, but I couldn't think of much of a use for it right now. I laid down in bed and let the sweet realm of Morpheus take me.

I woke up in my bed. I went outside to see the sun shining brightly down on everyone, it seemed like Apollo was in a good mood. Wanting to test something out I headed into the Smithing area. Normally it was just filled with Hephaestus kids but anyone was allowed in. I grabbed a Celestial Bronze ingot and began to shape it. I heated it in the fire long enough to mold it and then I began to hammer it down, the heat beginning to make me sweat.

I had to bring down the hammer several times to get it in the right shape. When I was satisfied I cooled it in the water. Hoping that my theory was correct.

I sighed, my theory was correct but not as good as I was hoping. The sword, I just made it was pretty much useless. I tossed it in the Camp's armory. I went out to the Archery range to hopefully get a couple of levels for it. On the way there I stopped in my cabin and grabbed the Bow of Shadows. After firing several shots one managed to stick itself behind me. Which was something I noticed, every time I pulled the string back an arrow appeared.

I continued to shoot for the rest of the day. My only breaks were for water and eating. I even continued until my fingers started to bleed from pulling back the string. All in all, I managed to get it to Level 7, Which was a 10% chance.

I went back to my cabin and decided to use the Skill Disks. I threw the level 5 Skill disk into Swordsmanship to get the bonus damage up. (I realize now that I completely forgot about adding that to damage, No I will not go back and update that until this story is complete.)
