Chapter 49
I woke up this morning to hear audrey crying in pain . I got up and ran into her room to find her on the floor crying . I knelt down quickly she was burning up she couldn't move . I then picked her up and put her into the car and drove to the hospital . We got into the hospital I was holding audrey in my arms when the doctor came . "hi can help you ? " He asked "yeah my daughter is in major pain and she has a fever ." I said "ok calm down miss. " he said "calm down ! My daughter is in pain I need you to help her now!" I demanded "okay okay what is her name ?" He asked "Audrey Berry ." I said "okay , audrey where does it hurt ?" He asked "my right side ." she said weakly "okay ." he then felt her head and said ," she has pancreatitis we need to get her in surgery now ." he said then the nurse came over with a gurney and they laid her on it . "mom come with me ." she said weakly "okay sweetie I'm right here ." I said I tried to walk but the nurse stopped me "ma'am I need you to stay here ." "No my daughter is in pain and about to have surgery I need to be with her !" I demanded "I know but now she is getting ready for surgery . she said calmly . I looked at her "is there anyone you need to call like your husband , a friend maybe ?" She asked I stared at her and then walked away picked up my phone and started to dial a number . I was sitting there waiting for the doctor to come out when Finn came rushing in to me saying , "hey ! Is she okay what happened ?where is she ?" "She had pancreatitis and so I took her in , she's in surgery now ." I said . he looked at me and gave me a big hug "thank you for calling me ." he said "it's fine ." I said "are you okay ?" He asked "yeah just a little shaken up ." I said "well I'm here now ." he said "thank you for coming . " I said "hey , it's fine I'm her dad I'm supposed to be here ." he said . I smiled then the doctor came out . "hi you must be Mr.berry " he said "uh no I'm Audrey's dad Finn Hudson ." he said "oh you two aren't married ? " He asked "no we aren't ." I said . Finn looked at me and then said "how is she ?" "Well she is going to be okay she's kind of loopy but she'll recover ." he said "great !" I said "can we see her ?" Finn asked "yes you can she's in room 204 ." The doctor said "thank you doctor ." I said and he walked away .
