A few days had passed since Izuku's encounter with Sir Nighteye and his healing of All Might. Izuku had officially started the internship prior, but today was the first time he was doing anything for it. At the moment, Mirio and Izuku were in the office listening to a report of their most recent case. "Kai Chisaki, aka Overhaul. The leader of the Shie Hassaikai and the recent suspect in a robbery heist that went wrong. We have been investigating them recently for their interactions being more open than normal. Our objective is to find out why and put a stop to it if possible." Both students nod with them heading out on the streets. "I will investigate their hideout perimeter with Bubble Girl, you two go on patrol around the area and see if you happen to find anything suspicious. If you find Chisaki, do not engage him unless you have absolutely no choice. Understood?" "Yes sir." With that, they left to do what they wished.

While out on patrol, Izuku felt this to be the perfect time to ask a question that's been on his mind. "Hey Togata?" "Hm, what's up Midoriya?" "I was wondering, how did you know I had 'that quirk'? As far as I know, only a handful of people know it." Mirio only smiled at Izuku before answering. "Sir told me." "Wait, why?" "Originally, I was supposed to meet All Might and have it. But on the day I was supposed to meet him, he was late. When Sir contacted him, he said he found a worthy successor and apologized for taking our time up. Sir was kinda mad, but he seemed to get over it after you came to the agency." Izuku didn't know what to say. All this time, All Might did not say anything about the fact he wasn't the first possible choice. "Do you hate me for it?" "Nope. I honestly didn't want it anyway and was gonna deny him that day." Mirio smiled with it amazing Izuku how blunt he was.

"Oh yeah, what's your hero name?" "I'm sorry?" "Since we'll be working together, we might as well know our hero names. Mines Lumillion." Izuku looked at his senior a little confused. "Can't save them all, right? So my goal is to save at least a million people." This statement brought a smile to Izuku's face. "Mines One For All." "Really?" Mirio looked at the green haired boy with confusion. "There's no denying that I am AFO's son biologically, but I will never be him. I dawn a similar suit as his to say I accept my lineage and don't care who they come from. I will be a hero that saves people and helps those that need it the most. If I can at least help those in my reach, I'd be honored if they call me their hero." Mirio smiled at this. "You really are a great person Midoriya." "Thanks, I have a lot of people to thank for that, including my girlfriend Ochako. Or as I like to call her, my 'Floaty Mochi'." "*snort* You have nicknames for each other? What made this one?" Izuku's face went red. "I-it's an inside joke." Izuku didn't feel right saying it was because of something that happened when they had some 'alone time'. To make it simple, she gave him an experience he'll never forget for as long as he lives.

As the duo were walking, they found themselves passing an alleyway. Out of nowhere, a little girl comes out of it to bump into Izuku and falls to the ground. "Are you ok? You really took a tumble." Izuku held his hands out for the child to flinch. He pulled back a little to not scare her more before asking. "Are you ok? Can I pick you up?" Izuku immediately noticed the girls arms and legs were covered in bandages with her in tattered clothing. She held a look of absolute fear with no indication as to why. "You should be more careful Eri, we don't want to cause trouble for the heroes." Izuku looked up and realized who spoke. The man Nighteye was searching for, Kai Chisaki. More commonly known by the name Overhaul.
