Detective Conan x reader

Episode 11 Part 3

Conan walked forward to the scene and observed it. You stood behind and scanned the room after looking at the table again.

"Death by bloodloss by a gunshot" said Conan and walked around the scene.

"And the cat?" you asked and looked over.

"The cat?" he asked and gave you a look.

"Hey, the cat is also a victim here" you said. "The cat is clearly dear to the person from what you can see in the room"

"Looks like it was beaten up" informed Conan after studying the black cat. "But why kill the cat also?"

"Cats are really loyal if you gain their trust" you said. "Animals also have instincts of who's bad or not"

"So you mean the cat tried to defend it's owner when the murderer came?" asked Conan.

"It's a possibility" you said. "Poor cat, black cats are also often seen as bad luck because of myths. Like they don't get enough pain and negativity already"

"Bad luck?" repeated Conan and thought to himself. "Wait, is that what the card means?"

"What?" you asked.

"The card's two of clover and black cats are a symbol of bad luck" explained Conan. "It's the opposite of eachother"

"Yeah, but black cats are bad luck, but clover cards are supposed to represent luck" you said. "The other murder cards represent the murder scenes exactly so why would this one be the opposite of the card?"

"True" said Conan.

The door then opened and when you two turned around you saw the police with Megure infront.

"You haven't done anything now have you?" asked Megure you two as the police scattered around the room.

"Of course not" said Conan.

Megure just narrowed his eyes alittle at him and then turned to you.

"Now have you?" he repeated to you.

"No, just looked around" you said and shook your head. "And you should look at the table, it's a card there"

"A card?!" he asked as his eyes widened and he sped walked to the table.

"How come they always turn to you when I reason to them?" asked Conan irritaded when Megure walked away.

"Then be glad I'm here" you mocked. "But he does listen to you, he's just knows how you can be"

Conan just groaned and then Takagi came over.

"So can you two tell me how you arrived here and found the scene?" he asked and took out a noteblock.

You and Conan gave a nod and started to explain things, but some things out like you two sneaking into Kogoro's stuff to look at the files.

"So this fortune teller is involved?" asked Takagi as he noted things down.

"Yeah, her name is Sakuyia" you nodded. "We met her not to long ago and got our future told by her"

"I see" nodded Takagi.

"We also talked to her today also and saw her list of visitors" said Conan.

"So you say that the other murder victims are also on the list?" asked Takagi shocked.

"Yeah" you nodded. "That's what we saw"

"What about you two?" asked Takagi.

"What?" asked Conan confused.

"She wrote your name down also right?" asked Takagi worried. "Isn't there a chance that you'll be targeted also?"

You and Conan looked at eachother confused.

"Don't worry about us" said Conan to him. "These no evidents of that"

"But I think it's best for you two to have someone looking after you" said Takagi and stood up. "Megure!"

"What is it, Takagi?" asked Megure and walked over.

"There's no need!" pleaded Conan.

Takagi ignored him and explained what he got to Megure who looked worried at you two.

"I agree" said Megure. "We'll send someone to send you two home and I'll inform Kogoro about this"

"But there's no evidents that we're being targeted" you said. "There's a possibility that it's a coincidence or the people have a connection with eachother!"

"I don't want to take the chance" said Megure.

"Megure!" called a officer and ran over with a book.

"What's wrong?" he asked and turned to the man.

"It's the diary of the victim" said the officer.

"Is there anything useful inside?" asked Megure.

"The latest notes says that he went to a fortune teller yesterday and got the card that's on the table, two of clover" he said.

"I see, good job" nodded Megure. "Now, can you take these two home safely?"

"Of course" he nodded and Takagi took the diary.

You and Conan sighed as Megure gave you a serious look which forced you to follow the officer out.

"You two becareful now, alright" said the officer as you two stepped out of the car.

"Of course!" you said and closed the door.

You waved as the car left and vanished from you view.

"You really think that we can get targeted?" you asked Conan.

"There's no evidents, but a chance" he said. "I just hope Ran will give us any space at all"

"Yeah" you sighed and you two walked into the apartment where a worried Ran stood waiting.

After a long talk with a worried and concerned Ran you two were able to keep your free space and went to your room to talk.

"That was close" you sighed and sat on the bed. "We almost lost our freedom"

"Yeah" nodded Conan and took out his phone. "You want to go and talk with Sakuyia again?"

"How are we going to be allowed out alone, exactly?" you asked.

"I know a way" grinned Conan and typed into his phone.

You raised an eyebrow as Conan took his phone to his ear to call someone.

"Hey, can you help us out a little?" he asked when the person picked up. "We have something important to do"
