Lady Viper threw open the door to Adrien's house and rushed inside, followed closely by Rena Rouge and Carapace.

"Adrien!" she called into the empty foyer as she strode about the room. She stopped as soon as she saw Adrien's bag on a bench. She pointed it out to the others. "His bag. He must be here somewhere."

Upon hearing the call, Gorilla quickly ran down from the second floor of the house. He stopped right in front of Lady Viper, looking at her cyan and black costume curiously.

She noticed his scrutiny and quickly said in way of explanation "It's me, Ladybug! There's a problem with my Miraculous. But, never mind that. I am looking for Adrien! Have you seen him? I think he may be in trouble!"

Gorilla shook his head 'no'. He'd been told by Gabriel to work upstairs as Gabriel was meeting with someone and didn't want to be interrupted. Gorilla had no idea that Adrien was even in the house. He suddenly felt guilty that he'd never contacted Adrien to tell him about his father's violent behavior. He'd meant to. What if he could have prevented whatever had happened to Adrien if he'd only said something? He needed to do what he could to make up for it. He quickly ran up to check Adrien's room.

Lady Viper saw that the door to the dining room was partially open, which was unusual, and sprinted towards it. She slowly pushed it open to peer inside, uncertain what to expect. She saw Adrien slumped over on the table.

"Adrien!" she cried, as she hurried over to him. Rena and Carapace heard her and came into the room, but held back, uncertain as to what Lady Viper wanted them to do.

Lady Viper touched Adrien's shoulders, trying not to let her mind go down a bad path before she knew more. Adrien moved slightly at her touch, but didn't wake up.

"Adrien!" she said again, giving him a slight shake. Rena and Carapace looked on worriedly.

With great effort, Adrien managed to turn his head up to look at her. A confused expression crossed his face. "Marinette? What are you wearing?"

Rena and Carapace both gasped upon hearing that and Lady Viper shot them an apologetic smile. "Later," she said quickly, returning her attention to Adrien.

"I knew it! I just knew it! She'd been acting so much like Ladybug recently!" said Alya quietly to Nino, who gave her a dubious glance since she'd never said anything to him about her suspicions. However, this made Nino wonder. So, if Adrien knows that Marinette is Ladybug does that mean that Adrien is . . ." But, Nino's thoughts were interrupted as he saw Lady Viper move and his worry for Adrien's condition took over his brain.

Lady Viper squatted down so she could meet his eyes. "Do you know what happened?" she asked him, hoping he had some information to prepare them. There was so much they didn't know!

Adrien tried to focus and clear his brain. What could he remember? "I was having tea with my father and then . . ." He scrunched up his face in concentration, willing himself to remember. "No. I'm sorry, Marinette. I don't remember anything." He frowned. "Why are you here?" He could see a number of emotions he couldn't quite identify flit across her face and he tried to sit up. She took his hand and elbow and guided him to a sitting position. When he felt her hand on his he realized with a jolt that his ring was missing. He got a burst of adrenaline, which started to clear his mind and energize his body. "What do you know?" he asked, looking at Lady Viper intently.

Lady Viper was really impatient to take some kind of action, but knew that the four of them needed to be aware of all of the details that they could get. She pulled out a chair and sat next to him, angling her chair to face him, and waved the other two superheroes over to join them. When they were all seated, she related what she knew. And, since Adrien had unexpectedly revealed her identity, she made the decision to just tell everything so her friends had all of the details, in case it was important. The Miraculous Ladybugs would fix whatever needed fixing later, if she got her earrings back. When I get my earrings back, she corrected.
