Alex's POV
We drove to Marissa's house to go and pick her up. That meant I had to get in the back seat of the car when we got there. We knocked on her door and she answered.

"MARISSA!" I screamed and jumped in Marissa's arms.

"Alex!" Mom panics and grabs me before I hit the floor completely. We both fall to the floor together.

"Make them shut up!" I screamed as I was uncontrollably sobbing and shaking. Mom gently picked me up as we made our way back to the car. She got into the back seat with me. "Please.. make them shut up." I say quietly as she holds me close.

"Make who shut up, baby girl?" Mom asks, sounding worried.

"M-Mommy.. they won't shut up." I whimpered and Mom held me tighter.

Demi's POV
"M-Mommy.. they won't shut up." Alex whimpered and I held her tighter as she hid her face. It broke my heart seeing her break down out of nowhere like this. Marissa offered to drive back to the house so I gave her the keys.

"Alex, calm down. Just breathe, baby. You're going to get sick if you don't calm down." I whispered in Alex's ear. "I want to help you. But you have to tell me who you want to shut up, baby girl."

Once Alex calmed down a bit, I gently picked her up and carried her inside when we got back. I brought her to the couch and we sat down. She situated herself onto my lap.

"I.. I'm sorry.." Alex whispered as she hid her face against my chest.

"You don't have to apologize, baby." I whispered in Alex's ear. She was still slightly shaking and crying so I decided to sing.

When I was done singing I noticed Alex fell asleep. I sighed and looked at Marissa, who also looked worried.

"I'll ask her about it when she wakes up." I quietly told Marissa. She nods and sits down next to me and turns on the ID channel.
