"Speeches!" Anna sung as she looked out at the over 200 people her and Katherine had invited to the wedding. On the top table was her, Kat, Jane, Cath, Anne and Cathy with all their other friends sat on circular tables in front.

"We are going to start!" Anne tapped her nails against a champagne flute and stood up with Cathy.

"There are so many things that we could say about both Kat and Anna, but considering Kat's mother decided 'I want to do the speech for Kat because I'm her mother'" Anne mocked.

"So we get to speak about Anna - a kind, caring person who most importantly -" Cathy was cut off by Anne.

"Is the best party animal on this earth!" Anne interjected while moving closer to the rest of the guests and Cathy's expression changed to confused.

"Anne, stick to the-"

"Anna always knows when to celebrate how to get down with the best dance moves-" Cathy then decided to divert back to the original subject, which evidently annoyed Anne.

"Anna is also, compassionate. Whenever Kat would, pass out from a sugar overdose, Anna would be the either the first, if she already was with Katherine, or second, if human siren over there gets there first." She pointed at Jane. "Or when someone's upset Anna is willing to put herself out so others can have."

"One last thing I want to mention" Anne began and Cathy rolled her eyes."Is that she is amazing at arguing! Like, incredible! I mean she never starts the arguments because, let's face it, I'm the only one with enough talent to do that, but Anna always..." The audience laughed as Cathy interrupted again.

"Anyway, Anna is an amazing person and let's let Jane and Catherine do their speech, " Catherine dragged Anne back to her seat and the pair gazed at Kat and Anna. They were laughing together so it seemed they didn't take offence.

"Can I first say, that Katherine, I am so so proud of you, " Jane started off seriously. "From where we were 5 or so years ago, to now. You have overcome so much recently, despite everything that's happened in the past. You went from barely trusting a single person, to, well, just look at everyone here." Jane looked across to Kat who had shed a tear or two which subsequently set Jane off.

"Mum?" Katherine turned to face Jane with tears streaming down her face. "Come here?" She asked and motioned Jane to hug her. The two shared a warm hug, Jane could feel Kat's tears falling on to the back of her neck and Kat could feel Jane's.

Jane released her from the embrace and walked back over to Cath while Anna was wiping Kat's tears for her.

"It's okay love, " Anna brought Kat closer to her and held her tightly.

"Oh Kat, I have to drive home with this mess!" Catherine exclaimed joking, pointing at Jane.

"That mess you're talking about is my mother-in-law, " Anna added, still holding an emotional Kat close to her.

"And your step-mother-in-law, " Katherine added to her wife's addition.

"Haha, I have responsibility!" Cath answered, punching the air with her fist.

"Who on earth gave you that?" Anne exclaimed.

"Technically, Jane did, "

After the whole ceremony, Anna and Katherine had booked out the hotel above the hall they rented out, so they went upstairs and, both being so tired, got ready for bed, and fell asleep in each others arms.
