Chapter Twenty-Seven

Vanessa's Point of View:

"I miss Michael so much," Kendra groaned as she rested her head on her arm.

I sighed. "I know you do. I miss Luke too,"

"It's only been a week and I'm already dying for them to come back. How am I gonna last six months?" Kendra frowned.

"I feel," I told her, attempting a smile.

"When are Bethany and Addison gonna be back with our drinks? I need my vanilla bean frap," Kendra whined.

We were currently sitting inside of Starbucks, waiting for our friends to come back. I turned my head, seeing that the line had barely moved.

"Might be awhile," I said, and pointed towards the line.

"Ugh." Kendra groaned and put her head down on the table.

"I miss Michael." She mumbled.

"I know," I rolled my eyes. "I've heard you say that about a thousand times in the past week."

"Oh shush." She muttered under her breath.

My friends and I had been extremely depressed for the past week. The guys were so busy, we've barely even talked to them. Plus the time zones were like a day apart, so that didn't help our situation at all.

A few texts had been sent out from me and Luke, but not much. All we would really say is that we missed each other so much, and how much we love each other. We didn't get to Skype yet, and I was bummed about that.

I made a twitter, just so I could see what he was doing and how he was. Only being gone a week, they already had so many more fans than they did before.

My stomach turned every time I saw a picture of Luke kissing another girls cheek. I told him that it bothered me, but he said that there wasn't really anything he could do about it. I understood that he couldn't just say no to a fan, but it still bothered me.

He told me that he doesn't look at those girls the way he looks at me, so that kinda made me happy.

Getting snapped from my thoughts, I saw that Bethany and Addison were finally walking back to our table.

Beth gave me my mocha cookie crumble, and sat down next to me quite annoyingly.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Yeah. I'm just annoyed because those assholes in front of me in line wouldn't stop hitting on me." She rolled her eyes.

"Hey beautiful, hit me up." Some guy who walked past our table grinned, and gave Beth a napkin that had a phone number written on it.

"I have a fucking boyfriend!" She yelled, causing the whole building to get quieter.

"Bethany chill," Addi whispered.

"Sorry," she mumbled.

The guy walked away in embarrassment, as Beth ripped up the napkin.

"I need Ashton here so badly," Bethany whispered, her eyes starting to water.

"Nobody is outside, maybe we should go sit at a table out there." I suggested.

"I'm up for that," Kendra said and grabbed her drink.

Addi, Beth, and I did the same, following Kendra outside.

I sighed of relief once we were outside, away from all the people in there.

As soon as we were outside, Bethany broke down in tears.

I wrapped my arms around her, letting her cry onto my shoulder. "It's gonna be okay Beth,"
