Chapter Thirty

Luke's Point of View:

"Wait," I said, trying to keep down my excitement. "We can?"

"Yep. For only a week though." Michael told me, the grin never leaving his face.

"Holy shit, I have to tell Vanessa." I said excitedly.

Michael laughed. "Well let's tell Ashton and Calum first, since they're apart of this too."

"Tell us what?" Ashton said as he walked into the tour bus, Calum following behind.

"Were allowed to fly back home on Friday.. So tomorrow," Michael told them the news, and their faces lit up with excitement.

"How long can we stay?" Calum asked, taking his phone out to probably text Addison.

"A week." I finished off.

"Holy shit," Ashton smiled. "This is gonna be sweet."

I nodded, and pulled out my phone, deciding if I was going to text Nessa or not. I could tell her, or I could surprise her. She hates surprises, so I'm not sure how she would react to that.

Thinking about it for a little longer, I decided to just surprise her. She would hate it, but love it at the same time.

"So what time are we leaving tomorrow?" I asked, nobody in particular.

"We have to be at the airport by ten," Michael told me.

Checking the time, I saw that it was almost midnight. "Well," I yawned, "I'm gonna go to sleep so tomorrow will come by faster."

Ashton laughed. "Same,"

Michael and Calum did the same, since they were probably just as excited as I was.

Getting inside my bunk, I got comfortable and took out my phone. The time zones were confusing, so I had no idea what time it was in Australia right now. Not caring about the times, I texted Vanessa. Even if she didn't see it right now, she would eventually.

After it was sent, I got a quick reply.

Smiling to myself, I dropped my phone and shoved my face into the pillow, falling asleep with ease.

Vanessa's Point of View:

That night, I laid in bed and watched Netflix. I was home alone, since my mom and Joey had gone out to the grocery store. I chose not to go, simply since I was just too lazy to walk around. School was extremely tiring today, and I was exhausted. Staying home and watching movies on Netflix was definitely a better option than walking around a store.

Getting bored of what I was watching, I decided to go on my phone for the time being. I opened up my text messages, smiling as I read the one from earlier, from Luke. He randomly texted me at lunch, telling me that he loves me. I was confused as to why he said just that and nothing else, but I didn't care. It made me happy.

Plus, it brightened my day by a lot, since school was pretty shitty today.

Before I got the text, I was sitting alone at lunch. Beth, Addi, and Kendra were late coming to lunch, so I had to sit by myself for a few minutes.

Well, I wasn't technically by myself.

Nolan came and sat down with me, thinking it was okay to just randomly talk to me whenever he could.
