I took a deep breath and dial Miss Eva's number.

It rings a couple of times, I thought she is not going to pick up. But she picked.

"Hello?" A woman answered the call.

"Hii.. is this Miss Eva?" I asked.

"Yes this is. Who is this?"

"Hi Miss Eva, I'm Sarah." I said.

"And?" She asked annoyed.

"I'm writing a paper on cane street murder case. I want to write a story from your point of view." I said, hopping that she doesn't hang up.

"Oh." She said changing her tone to almost excited.

"Yes I want your point of view of how you survived such a horrible incident and your life after." I said making my own self sick.

"You know I always thought my story should be told." Sje said in a matter of fact tone.

"Are you available for a interview today?" I asked.

She goes quiet then said, "yeah. Come over then."

I walked back to the living room.

"What did she said?" Lisa asked.

"She agreed to give the interview." I told them.

"Of course." Yeri rolled her eyes.

"I still don't know about this." Lisa shakes her head.

"If you really don't want to do this or don't feel safe then you don't have to." Yeri said in a motherly tone.

"I'll be fine." I give them a fake smile because I'm terrified.

Lisa grab my arm and pulled me into the kitchen.

"You don't have to do this." She said again.

"I told you I'll be fine."

"But you said it with your fake smile. I know the difference between your fake smile and true smile." She said and stared into my eyes.

I never thought anyone ever noticed when I did that.

I lean forward and kissed Lisa's soft lips.

"I love you Lisa. I'll do anything for you." I told her.

She puts a piece of hair behind my ear. "You are the best thing that ever happened to me."

I took Lisa's hand and walked back to the living room.

"Everything is okay??" Yeri asked confused. I nod.

"Are you sure, you don't want me to come with you?" Yeri asked?

"No. I don't wanna take any chance."

I grabbed my phone and call.

"Who are you calling?" Lisa asked confused.

"Hey are you busy???" I said happily to the other person on the phone call.
