It was a full day of getting ready for the Emmy's and lots of people poking and prodding at me and my look. Finally at 10 we left to the Emmy Award show and we went inside and sat down. There was hella people here, it started and lots of actresses and actors won some I've grown up watching and new ones I love.
Adam:And next we will announce the winner for outstanding supporting actress in a limited series or movie here are the nominees
The screen prompt showed all the nominees and a b**ch was one of them for When they see us. Which I did like 2 months after I had Mateo.
Adam:and the winner is......
He opened the envelope
Adam:*smiles* Keisha Love
My jaw literally dropped. Everyone clapped and I got up walking to the stage and walked up the steps over to the announcers who gave me the award. I stood infront of the mic looking at the crowd.
Me:*smiles* Oh my god I was not prepared for this
They laughed which relaxed me a bit.
Me:*smiles* I wanna thank Ava DuVernay for allowing me to be apart of this beautiful project thank you!
They clapped and I walked off stage, after the rest of the awards we walked the carpet. I was pulled to some interviews then we left.

We got home and changed and I put the award next to the others in the foyer. Cols and I sat on the couch just talking.
