~1 Month later~

I'm halfway through my sentence and I feel like a sitting duck. There is nothing to do all day every day. Although yesterday a brawl broke out so we are on lock down for 48 hours. I started working out and my 3 bunkies sat on Ciara's bunk. So in one cell there are 2 bunk bed so 4 inmates to a room. Ciara sleeps on the other top bunk. 

Zo:Yo Baker why do you workout so much

Me:so when I get the f**k out I can go straight back to work

Ciara:Ya plus she gotta husband she gotta keep in good shape for

They joked the only reason they know I have a husband is because I get taken for visitation once a week and last week the officer mentioned I have a husband. Being in here is like being in highschool. Gossiping, fights, relationships etc its exhausting. 

Mercy:Whatcho husband look like 

Me:why you wanna know

Ciara:Well he's definitely black 

Zo:I bet he's very strong 

Mercy:a muscular man 

Ciara:probably a thug

Mercy:why you say that

Ciara:cause he gotta be able to put up with her stank attitude

They got quiet and I got up looking at them. 

Me:Hilarious

I remarked and they laughed relaxing. I hopped up on my bunk and I picked up my notebook and started writing. 

"I can feel it, it's here just hiding. Being in a box 24 hours a day with no sunlight its messing with my mind. I dont even know what day it is or what time it is. I miss my babies and my family and working. Everything I miss everything about home. I feel like I'm going crazy in here we do the same thing every all day long. Nothing changes the most interesting thing in here is fights. I just-"

Ciara:when are you going home?

I looked at her. 

Me:2 months or so

I closed my notebook and stuffed it under my matt. 

~Colsons POV~

Lindsey:So danny wants to get the shot of you with the girls

Me:we have to pause filming I have to go pick up mat and cas

Lindsey:I can do it for you

Me:No I should

Lindsey:Okay I'll let him know

Me:thank you 

She walked out and I got up and I walked out of the filming studio and I got in the g and left to mat's school. I parked and got out walking inside to the front desk. 

Ms.Harper:*Smiles* Mr.Baker nice to see you again are you here for Mateo?

Me:yes

Ms.Harper:Just go down that hall you'll see a classroom door labelled 4 walk right in

Me:Okay thank you

I walked down the hall finding the door and walked in. I saw other parents with there kids and Mat came running over to me. I picked him up and he hugged me. 

Mateo:*smiles* dad!

Me:*smiles* Hey bubba

The hug broke and I set him down he ran grabbing his bag then came back over. I took his bag and he grabbed my hand and we walked out. We got to the car and I unlocked it and opened the back door setting his bag inside first then helping him climb up there and he sat in his seat and I buckled him and I got in. And started driving to cas's school. 

Me:How was school?

Mateo:*smiles* Fun we got to play with snakes and frogs today

Me:What did you do that for

Mateo:To learn about reptiles

Me:Do you like snakes?

Mateo:Yes *smiles* they are fast and slimely

Me:They sure are

We pulled up to the school and cas came over and got in setting her bag at her feet. 

Casie:*smiles* Hey dad

Me:*smiles* Hey how was school?

I asked pulling off. 

Casie:Good I aced my world history test

Me:Of course your the smartest person in the world

She smiled at me. 

Later that Night

I put the twins to bed and mat to bed and walked to Casie's room. I lightly knocked on her door and I heard her tell me to come in. I walked in and she was getting in bed. I walked over and I hugged her and kissed her head. 

Me:goodnight princess I love you

Casie:I love you too dad goodnight

I walked to the door, I turned off her big light as she had her lamp on. 

Casie:dad?

I stopped looking at her. 

Me:Yea

Casie:can we talk?

Me:sure

I walked over and sat on her bed across from her. 

Me:whats up

Casie:How are you holding up

I looked in her eyes and I couldn't lie. 

Me:I'm struggling I didn't realize how much stuff ki did for me and for you guys I feel like I'm barely skating by

Casie:Yeah, well from my perspective your doing a great job but dont be afraid to ask for help dad especially with the twins and bubs its a lot for a man to do. How are you feeling emotionally?

Me:um I miss her a lot waking up in an empty bed is still weird

Casie:Yeah are you staying.....sober

Me:Yea of course 

Casie:Whens the last time you talked

Me:2 days ago they went on lock down cause of a fight

She nodded. 

Casie:Okay but I'm serious if you need help I'm here

Me:*smiles* I know

~Ki's POV~

The cell was quiet everyone just fell asleep. I was reading a book waiting for the hours to pass. I finished my book and stuffed it under my matt. I pulled this sandpaper feeling blanket over me and I never slept laying down I sat up leaning against the wall so I could see the whole cell. The fact of the matter is I am a high status person I dont know peoples intentions so for my own protection I dont sleep laying down and I barely sleep.
