Chapter 59 - Cheating Heart

Nash's P.O.V

"Babe, what about these?" I say to Carly.

She comes over to me and takes a look at the crib."I love it! I think this is the one," she smiles.

looking at the pink crib, I pull the box off the shelf and put it in the cart. We wandered around for awhile looking for more baby stuff, while more and more people kept giving us nasty looks.

"I don't wanna go to school tomorrow," Carly whined.

"Me either." School was just a place were girls drooled over me, and where I get nasty looks all the time from people, and at this store too. I'm so ready to get out of here.

As I was going to the check out line, I got a text from Cameron.

From Cameron:
Nash, can you please meet me at leo's Coney Island when you get home? It's important.

To Cameron:
Okay, I'll be there soon.

I wonder what was so important, I mean Cameron and I kinda were not talking for a few weeks because of Natalie, but now I wonder what's wrong.

I Dropped Carly off at home, helped her carry the stuff in, and gave her a kiss goodbye. The baby shower was also in two days, so Carly and I both where freaking out. We still need to get lots of things done, and hopefully, two days is enough.

Finally getting to leo's, I see Cameron through the window. He was standing up, looking into the middle of no where with a bear bottle in his hands.

I quickly open the car door and walk over to him,"Cam, what's going on?"

He looks up at me as he struggles to speak."Natalie told me that I need to move on. A-And I don't know how to. I mean, I love her...but at the same time, I don't..."

I knew this would happen sooner or later, because I can see in Natalie's eyes that she has lost her interest in Cameron and in herself.

"Cameron I think she's right. It's time for you to let go. Find someone knew." He put his head down and sighed. I could feel his pain right now because I know how much he loved her. She's just a mess and nobody can help her anymore.

I helped Cameron up, and got him into the car. I drive back to my place to play some video games and do guy stuff. He needs to get Natalie off his mind for awhile.

When we got home and walked through the door, It sounded like nobody was home. Nobody was in the living room or kitchen. I think Carly might be in the nursery, but I'm not that sure. Heading up the stairs, I see that Hayes's door was open and I herd whining from the inside. I walked in to find Carly and hayes curled up together on the bed, both in tears.

"Whoa! What's going on?!" I ask scared.

Carly looks up at me with her eyes all red and puffy,"Melanie was cheating on Hayes. She never liked him. She just used him to get internet famous and he is having a break down, Nash. It's just heart breaking," she cries.

I saw every picture they took together, everything she gave him into pieces, and everything she ever left over here on the floor was destroyed. It was my brothers first heart break. Hearing Hayes cry hurt my heart. I hated seeing him in so much pain. Even if we don't get along a lot.

As I patted his back, I start to talk,"Hayes, it's okay. Just breath, just breath." He keeps sniffling and trying to talk, but I keep him quite.

After a while, I finally leave the room and go down stairs to find Cameron playing some video game that Hayes has. Now I have two broken hearts, and only two whole hearts. Why is everything so complicated in life?
