Chapter 15- The Black Knight of Two Blades

We had used an elevator and went up to the 80th floor. Where I saw MY Knight in black armor, laying down in the grass of the garden. He stretched and sat up. "So you've come, as I expected." Kirito said as he stood up and turned to face us. "The fact you stand before me is proof of your skill and courage. But that said, I cannot allow you two to go any further. I'm sorry to say that I must end your journey here." He informed us and I took a deep breath. "So then, which one of you wants to do battle with me first?" Eugeo took a step forward but I held my arm in front of him and looked at Kirito. "Integrity Knight Kirito, I will be your opponent." I answered and Kirito chuckled a bit. "Very well then, young lady," he took a somewhat playful bow, "prepare to fall by my Dark Repulser!" I felt sweat roll down my face as I took a deep breath, while he unsheathed the sword on his back and assumed a stance not unlike my own. "Kirito, if you don't mind me asking, what is your sword?" I questioned, Kirito smirked. "Very well, my sword is the Dark Repulser, a blade designed to be most effective against those from the Dark Territory. However, it can still cut those from the Human Empire. After all, a sword is a sword, no matter it's intended victims." He informed us and I nodded. "Very well, Kirito Synthesis Thirty, I challange you to a duel! En Garde!" 

I charged in with Stinger and Kirito blocked my strike and went for a heavy homerun blow, it was the skill 'Power Strike', I blocked the attack but was sent back, I did a midair flip and, as I fell, spoke "System call. Generate Cryogenic Element!" I then fell to the ground and shouted "DISCHARGE!" causing spikes of ice to block Kirito's path. He smirked at me. "Clever girl." He then pointed his sword at me and did a short lung, sending a beam of purple energy at me which I barely managed to dodge. Kirito, immediately, charged me and started to go on the offensive but I countered. For a while, we seemed to be fighting on even ground. That is until I hit him with Vertical Square, sending him flying backwards. Kirito looked at me with amazement. "That skill you used, it's Vertical Square. What's your style called, miss?" He asked me with some level of politeness. I smirked, "I don't know. I learned to use a sword on my own, I made the skills based off of instinct and intuition." I told him and he stood, looking down. "Aincrad... the style we use is the Aincrad style. But you're still no match for me, Miss Alice. Now then, allow me to provide you with a lesson, I will show you the true power..." he looked at me with hard eyes, sending chills down my spine, "of the Aincrad style!" He then reached his right hand over to the sheath on his left hip, drawing a large ornate sword that rediated Luminous energy. "5 years. That's how long it's been since I last unsheathed the Holy Sword Excalibur." He informed me, I was in awe at the beauty and size of the weapon he held in one hand like a common shortsword, not to mention his confidence. "To be honest, I didn't expect you to push me this far. The only other person who has forced me to unsheath Excalibur is the Commander." Kirito continued as we approached me and entered a stance. Dark Repulser in his left hand and Excalibur in his right.

I stared at him "No way... you're dual wielding... but I thought that was impractical, only stuck up nobles try to use two swords at once. No one has ever used two effectively..." I said as I was amazed, he grinned at me. "Yeah, well, first time for everything." I then slowly entered my stance again, "You ready, Kirito?" I asked him and he chuckled. "I'm more than ready." At  that, he blitzed me and started to continuously bombard my guard with slashes as he moved so fast that I struggled to see the movements of his sword. He forced me back and onto one knee, I was straining my arms to keep his swords from cutting me. I then looked into those gray eyes of his and I gained that same yellow haze over my eyes for a breif moment as my Elucidator grew in size and was engulfed in golden light. 'Now's my chance' I thought, 'My only chance!' I pushed him back and yelled out "Enchance Armament!" I let my flowers swirl around me as I directed them to him, attempting to weaken him so I could talk sense into him. Somehow, he managed to defend against the barrage. I then stopped the attack and charged at him, "Generate Thermal Element! Arrow shape. DISCHARGE!" I fired them at Kirito which he easily blocked, I leaped into the air and brought my sword down upon his guard, slashing at him relentlessly. He was easily able to block however he couldn't counterattack. I slowly pushed him back, and unleashed a series of 6 stabs at him, the final one hit his stomach and he looked at me. His eyes were flashing yellow as he then released a shockwave which blew me backwards. He charged at me and leaped into the air, one sword glowing neon green as the other glowed blue. 

He started to bombard me with progressively faster strikes from both swords, I blocked 15 of them but the 16th blow hit my chestplate and knocked me backwards but I landed on my feet and Kirito was on me in a split second, trying to cut me down. I was able to block his attack and at this point, Eugeo ran in and Kirito blocked him with one blade. "Wait your turn, boy. My business with the woman." He said before knocking Eugeo aside and I jumped back to the wall, he charged at me and I sidestepped his attacks, moving to stop him from using his arms and moving his body. He gasped at me and struggled to move. "EUGEO NOW!" I yelled out and Eugeo stabbed his sword into the ground as he shouted "Enchance Armament!" Which froze me and Kirito, the plan was for him to freeze us and then disarm Kirito but Excalibur remained out of the ice. Excalibur glowed with divine energy and melted the ice, Kirito then glared at Eugeo. "You'll get you turn after I finish with your friend. I'll fight you in due time, so be a good boy and wait." He threatened but then the wall behind us cracked and we were sucked out of the garden and torwards the ground.
