Higa did his best to secure the sever after setting up an account for Sinon. Kikuoka had dozed off and now Higa was finishing it up. After a brief conversation and slightly longer lecture, Higa had an epiphany. He knew how to help Kirito! After strategizing for a brief time, the plan was set in motion. Higa went down the later with a Mr. Yanai. Higa wanted to help Kirito for all he'd done to help RATH get to the point they are now, and he needed to get to the Maintenance Connector for that. Higa began to work with Maintenance Connector but Mr. Yanai pulled out a sidearm, preventing Higa from doing anything. It turned out that the man had gone insane and used to work for Suguo. Eventually, Mr. Yanai shot Higa. After Higa said Kirito could die, Mr. Yanai didn't care and said it was fine. The man then said had met the Administrator and appeared infatuated with her. This bothered Higa and when the man pointed the gun to Higa's chest, the scrawny man was slightly nervous but not terrified. He'd been expecting to be shot at afterall, but he doubted that Mr. Yanai would shoot but didn't rule it out.
