Philia had logged in with an archer account called 'Solus', more Sinon's style but she knew a thing or two about bows herself. And if this world's physics were indeed realistic, she was certain she could use the bow effectively. Upon spawning, she had effectively unleashed a nuclear cluster-bomb on the horde of Red Knights. Now, slowly descending, she looked to Asuna. "Sorry for taking so long, Asuna." Philia apologized, having cared little for Asuna as she'd wanted Kirito for herself but Asuna was in the way of that ends, she wasn't really sorry for keeping her waiting but sorry for not coming for Kirito sooner. "Philia!" Asuna exclaimed excitedly, but Philia didn't share the excitement. "Where is Kirito?" She asked, not missing a beat. In truth, she'd noticed some ruins further South but that could wait. She just wanted to see Kirito.
Asuna led her to the carriage Kirito waa being kept in. Philia went inside, seeing the two girls guarding Kirito. "L-lady Solus?!" The girls exclaimed and Philia shook her head. "Not in the inside. I just look like Solus, I'm Philia." The short-haired girl introduced herself to the younger teens. "I'm Kirito's friend..." She trailed off as her eyes at last sat upon Kirito. His missing arm, his slumped posture... and his lifeless eyes, they all contributed to her eyes watering up. Only a brief second after she had trailed off, she dropped her bow and dashed the short distance to him, laying her head in his shoulder as she hugged him.
'Even though your soul may be badly damaged, there are still so many people who know you... you feel it, don't you, Kirito? The part of you inside of me? The brave, stubborn, mischievous, and naive boy... the strongest and kindest person.' Philia thought as she held him, however, before she let go- she softly kissed his cheek, just to spite Asuna a bit. Philia then grabbed her boy and rose to her feet, wiping her tears away. "He'll be fine. I'm sure of it, Kirito will wale up. When we need him most." She smiled a bit, Asuna nodding. Philia couldn't tell if her tactic to get under the chestnut haired girl's skin had worked but Philia knew that more important things were at hand.
"I saw some abandoned ruin about five kilometers south of here, we should be able to fight there without being surrounded. I'll fly on ahead to scout the place out." Philia said while walking to the door but Asuna grabbed her wrist. "Fly?! Did you just say fly?" Asuna asked frantically. "Yes, Asuna. It's a unique ability of Solus, apparently, that I can use as often as I want." Philia answered, comparatively calm next to Asuna. "In that case, we're not the only ones in need of being rescued. It's Alice! The Emperor flew off with her on his dragon!!" Asuna exclaimed. Philia nodded in response and stepped outside, taking to the sky.
Philia was no idiot, at least she didn't think so. She saw it in his eyes, dull and faint but persisting embers that were desperately trying to spark to life. That's why she knew he'd wake up soon; Kirito's sense of justice and desire to fight for what he cares for was too strong, even in those seemingly lifeless eyes. Philia knew Kirito well enough to recognize that he still knew what he would normally be doing, fighting on the frontlines, he just wasn't able to draw his sword. He had the will to get up and fight, just not the awareness. Or that's what she was able to understand, at least.
Meanwhile, Leafa had spawned in and interacted with an Orc. The Orc was angry and scared in her presence, yet Leafa continued to be as sweet as usual. Or, rather, since she'd started playing VRMMOs with Kazuto. Leafa, despite the Orc's appearance, saw him as a human. He was talking to her, so in her mind, he was a human; albeit mutated. Such a sentiment puzzled the Orc who decided to take her prisoner, and bring her before the Emperor. Leafa, not being totally misinformed, realized he was talking about Vector who she knew she needed to fight. So she offered him her hands, letting him tie them without resistance.
However, the Head of the Dark Mages was still alive and took the girl captive. She taunted the Orc while draining her life, much to the enragement of the Orc. Code 871 taking effect in his right eye. However, instead of following the Witch's order and taking off his clothes, he heard Leafa's words to not do it and drew his sword- lightly slashing the Mage's legs as he fell forward, breaking the Seal of the Right Eye in the process. The Witch became furious and threw Leafa to the side, prepared to kill the Orc but the Witch's arms were destroyed before she could.
The Witch turned to face Leafa, shocked. "A Human slashing another human, to save a pig?" She questioned, shock and aw written on her face. The ground around Leafa was blooming with flowers and greenery as she held her stance, although the younger Kirigaya hadn't wanted to kill anyone without knowing what was happening- she could tell that the Witch was evil. And so, when asked if she'd really attacked a human to save the Orc, Leafa knew her answer. "You're wrong, I'm not saving a pig. I'm slashing Evil to save a human!" The blonde responded as she swung her sword once again, shredding the Witch with her sword Perfect Weapon Control Art.

So, I'm going to make some more chapters out of what else I have of last weeks episode and, I hope, this weeks episode. The reason is so I can give the battle sections in the second half and the Leafa and Lilpilin section a bit more justice. Also, I'm going to try to make Philia a bit more in character but since I'm using the shows timeline, she won't be identical as her experiences are different.
