Renly and I had led the soldiers torwards the ruins that Philia had told me about. The fighting in the Underworld wasn't quite like fighting in VR but I was able to understand it. I was glad RATH had given me the Goddess Stacia Superaccount, the massive HP and Control Authority levels I had were the only reason I was able to come out on top during my fights so far, of course the Game Master level equipment I had was also useful. My Radiant Rapier felt more like a longsword than a normal rapier, but I didn't mind that.

As I rode my horse, my thoughts wondered back to Alice. Alice had known Kirito so long, much longer than I had, so it made me feel as if Kirito might pick her over me. It worried me. Even so, I still had to protect this world's people and Kirito. The matter of what girl Kirito would love more when woke up could wait. We had arrived by now and I got off my house. Thinking about Philia led me to Sinon, what account would Sinon pick? RATH didn't have any more STLs available, so what would she be? She would've wanted the Solus account but maybe RATH had another account? I heard of a fifth God so maybe there was another Superaccount for Sinon, if not then maybe RATH had one in development for her? I really had no idea what account she would pick or if RATH had something in mind for her. I knew she could make use of a Goddess account and so did Kikuoka. Either way, I wasn't able to get any answers so there wasn't much of a point in wondering about it.

"Lady Asuna?" Renly called out and I turned my head to face him. "Yes?" I inquired. "Earlier, that girl who saved us, you knew her. Who was she?" The green haired boy asked. "Oh, she's Philia. Why did you ask?" I answered. "Nothing, I just wanted to knkw what to call her when she returned." Renly responded and I nodded. "Alright, anyways, I'm heading to see Kirito. Tell me if anything happens."

Something did happen. The American players did find us, and charged in like reckless fools. But, that doesn't mean much coming from a Berserk Healer, does it? And so, I left Kirito's carriage. "I'm counting on you to protect Kirito." I told Royne and Tiese before leaving, the two girls confirming that they'd protect him eith their lives. I smiled at and them, facing them. "Don't worry, we won't even let the enemy reach this far." I assured them before turning to charge into the battle.

"Attack!" Renly shouted as he extended his hand, I ran past soon after as I watched the soldiers around me fall in uncomfortable numbers, but not cripplingly so. I used my favorite skill, 'Crucifixion', to start the engagement. I disconnected 4 of the Knights with the single 6-hit skill before I stepped backwards and used a simple crosscut before stabbing a Knight, impaling him om my sword. Thinking fast, I used his body as a bludgeon before it disintegrated and beheaded another Knight while stepping to the side, kicking one of the in the knee from behind before cutting off his head and stabbing another Knight. I used 'Linear' to pierce an entire cluster of the American Knights, disconnecting around 15 Knights while severing the arms or destroying the weapons of 8 more. I spun around, making use of Skill Connect to transition into 'Vorpal Strike' which was able to finishing of five of the 8 survivors.

Out of the corner of my eye, I notice one of the soldiers was cornered and I immediately leaped to him, using the 'Streak' Rapier skill to deliver a diagonal slash to four Knights which dropped their HP to zero before they could kill him. "Come on, on your feet." I said while pulling him up and cut off the sword arm of a Red Knight to keep him from stabbing the Soldier, I then beheaded the Knight and used the 'Star Splash' skill which delivered 8 stabs to my enemies which killed off 3 of them and severely injured a fourth, I immediately used the 'Suigetsu' Martial Arts Skill to deliver a powerful roundhouse kick which knocked his head off while I used the Radiant Rapier to sever the heads of five Knights in a single, long slashing motion.

I backflipped a couple times to gain distance, looking ahead at my foes. I was breathing fairly heavily but quickly regained my breath. I then noticed my enemies had expanded there arsenal. They now had Axes, longswords, lances, and Bows. I gulped but took a deep breath. 'System Call' I thought as I ran back into the fray, leaping into it while using the 'Lightning Fall' skill which sent out white lightning in all directions. I was a bit surprised as I didn't think elements would carry over but didn't think to much on it as I verbally continued my chant. "Generate Thermal Element." I said while cutting through more Knights with regular attacks. 'Arrow Shape.' I thought before picturing the attack in my mind to see if it worked, and it seemed like if would so I jumped into the air, using the American as a steppingstone, and shouted. "DISCHARGE!" I incinerated a large swath of the Archers. I knew that because I didn't say system call allowed, they wouldn't be able to copy it immediately, and since I didn't verbally say the shape, they weren't expecting the attack.

Unfortunately, my attack was too late as the Archers had fired a few arrows at me before I incinerated them. One punctured my hand and another my foot, however, most bounced off my chestplate. But, one arrow was fired with the skill 'Explode Arrow' and the flames hit me amd the ensuing explosion knocked me into the ground, where I was stabbed by several opportunistic Lance-users at once. The pain was unbearable, but the Americans didn't know who I was so they had no way of knowing what would come next, I snapped.

I screamed in rage and pain as I spun around like a ballerina, slashing all of the lance users. They all lost their heads and I charged at them, cutting them down like a rapid animal as I used the various Rapier, One-headed sword, and Martial Arts skills that I had at my disposal to rapidly game-end the Red Knights in large numbers as well as normal attacks that weren't sword skills. They managed to injure me several times, especially the Lance users, but at this point all injuring me did was piss me off more. I was a Goddess on this world, I had nothing to fear from lowly Knights with no actual battle experience!

Yet, even with all my vigor, all my experience and power, all of my rage... my rampage couldn't continue forever. Even if my body had the stamina to battle for eternity, anger is very exhausting for the mind. And even in this simulated world, my mind was still the same mind I had in the real world. After only a mere 10 minutes, my anger had left me entirely and I was out of breath. Afterall, in virtual worlds, your belief in something is largely responsible for making it a reality. So once my mind had been worn out by the endorphins, my virtual body's stamina was also at zero. At least, it felt like it as I leaned over my sword, panting as I was covered in blood and had various cuts, scrapes, and scratches covering my body. I felt much worse than I actually was, I knew this, I still hadn't even lost five percent of my HP. While I couldn't tell the exact number, I still knew that it I had over 95 percent left. I knew it because I was barely injured, and I'd been cut in the throat but it had actually only made a small scratch mark as I never once felt blood in that area. And if my body could handle a cut to the throat without my skin breaking, I knew my HP was undoubtedly through the roof, as expected of a Goddess Superaccount. Also, my armor would've protected me from taking any damage from an attack unless it was an explosion, it was classified as an indestructible object afterall. Or at least, to my understanding it wouldn't break under any conceivable circumstances according to what Mr. Higa had told me.

Though I felt exhausted and I wasn't accustomed to my powers or the workings of this world, I couldn't turn back. "What the hell, this game really sucks." One of the American's said in horrible english. I could tell he was an immigrant. I leaped to him and stabbed him in the head, having to lean on my sword once again. 'My body won't give out until my mind does...' I thought tiredly as my mind drifted to my friends and Kirito. Kirito.... Kirito would've faught to the last point of HP, but he was just a commoner account, mine was a goddess. Feeling my energy come back to me, I stood up straighter. "So I will stay standing forever!" I bellowed,  but I was still mentally fatigued, however, I could still fight. Even as I stood amongst the bodies of so many soldiers. Even so, I had to keep fighting so I could protect Kirito, if he died and was logged out, he'd never wake up again. I'd never be able to see him smile... to hear his voice. I had to fight! For his sake.

As the American Red Knights charged me, I heard what sounded like horns. It briefly made me feel like armageddon was starting, but when I looked up and saw the blue light, I realized it just might be. "Enemy... reinforcements?" I questioned, not sure if I could handle more by myself. However, I saw the orb, the manifestation of the Fluctlight as well as the memonic data, morph into a human shape. Armed with a katana.... which I hadn't seen yet in the Underworld. And the person spun around with the katana. I watched in awe at the result. It whipped up a tornado that quickly vanished as a shockwave came from the eye of the storm, blowing the Red Knights apart. "A sword... skill..." I trailed off as I stared at who was before me. The one who had used 'Revolving Wheel' had a familiar silhouette.

"You're..." I trailed off once again as I saw him rise and face me. "Hey, sorry to keep you waiting, Asuna." It was Klein! "Klein!" I shouted but before I could return the greeting, I looked up and saw more lights descend from the heavens. More players coming from my world. And, in those moments, I felt like I had gained one ally but also thousands of enemies.
