The goblins were destroying the left flank. Linel and Fizel attacking the goblins and killing them with the expertise and precision of a surgeon. They were complaining about how Renly had likely abandoned his post. Renly was indeed cowering in fear, afraid to face his foes. He veiwed himself as a failure, a 'broken' knight. He was a defect. He soon heard some noises from outside the tent he hid within. Royne and Tiese were at the entrace with the comatose Kirito. Tiese spoke up, "Who's there?!" She was startled by the apparent presence of something. Renly came out of his hiding spot, covering the symbol that marked him as an Integrity Knight. "Sorry, I did not mean to startle you." The coward made his presence known. "Oh, you're not a mosnter..." they sighed in relief. "Where are my manners, we haven't introduced ourselves. I am Royne Arabel, my friend here is Tiese Shtolienen, and behind her is Mr. Kirito." Renly starred in awe and shock. "That is Sir. Kirito?" He questioned, whispering "He's the one who defeated the Pontifex..." the girls didn't hear him though. "Yes, he is. But, can you help us? Miss Alice requested we look after Kirito as he is currently unable to fight." Tiese said. "We're only Primary Trainees, we can't defeat multiple goblins but we still accepted this responsibility. So, will you please help us?" Royne explained, Renly nodded. "Very well, I'll do my best."

Tiese then heard noises from outside the tent, uttering "Smoke...." she then stepped back and moved her hand to her side. No sooner did he realize that she was trying to draw her sword was the curtain violently ripped open. A foul stench washed in and a goblin made his way in. The girls were terrified. "St-stay back.. I'm warning you!" Tiese exclaimed in fear. "So fiesty, so tasty." It hissed as it licked it's lips. Tiese then raised her sword, "Of you come any closed, I'll kill you..." both girls were terrified while he stood and was unable to move. Just then, a man who had sat behind the girls, was now in front of them facing the goblin, sitting in his chair. His hand tightly gripping two Divine Objects as he was desperately trying to move his other, missing, arm to draw one of them but was unable to. 'Are you trying to protect them? You can't stand or even speak, much less draw a sword.... yet you struggle....' Renly thought as the goblin moved to attack the girls, Renly felt a shift in the air and watched as the air itself seemed to slice through the goblin. Kirito now weakly laying against the back of his wheelchair, seemingly exhausted from a fight. Renly then comprehended that Kirito had faught the goblin, he had killed it with a incarnate sword. The dismembered body fell to the floor, behind it stood Linel. "Aw, bummer, seems like Uncle Kirito did all the work..." Linel sighed, her gaze then rested upon Renly.

"What is the elite knight who is supposed to be in charge of the Second Unit's left wing doing in here?" Fizel questioned, knowingly. Royne and Tiese seemed a bit shocked that he was an Integrity Knight. Renly looked away, "It has nothing to do with you." He said and Linel turned to leave. "I cleaned up all the goblins around here but more are coming, maybe we should move?" Fizel questioned as she appeared. Linel nodded, "Alright. Trainees, bring Kirito and follow us." Linel ordered the girls. Fizel then scowled. "They're here. Eight, no, 10 of them!" Linel frowned. "Ignore that order. Stay here while we clean up the goblins." Linel commanded, retasking the elder girls. The twins then left.

Renly heard footsteps and then a tear in the tent wall, this time, he instinctually leaped away from the threat. He saw the trio of goblins and automatically reached for his weapon, unable to draw them. The three cornered the two girls. Renly thought back to his friend, the one he'd killed. His friend told him to become a great knight. And then he remembered Kirito, the Black Knight who tried to protect the girls even though his mind was broken. Without moving or even speaking, Kirito had killed a goblin. However, now, Kirito couldn't protect the girls. It was up to him, he had to protect the trainees. Renly then threw his weapon, slicing the three goblins open with the flick of his wrist. "Stay here, please, and protect Kirito." Renly ordered. The coward then did what cowards do best, run. Only this time, in the wrong way, the direction a Knight charges.

Having reached where many goblins were,  he was surrounded. That was good, less goblins that could advance and endanger the girls. "I am Renly. Integrity Knight, Renly Synthesis Twenty-Seven! If you want my head, then be ready to give your lives for it!" He announced before he proceeded to slaughter over a hundred of the goblins until one stopped his killing spree. It was a chief. The Goblin mocked him and it got to Renly. Renly thought back to how Kirito protected the girls and he then smirked a bit. "You are correct, I am not much of a Knight. Even so, let us be clear. Though I may be defective, these are not!" He then made use of the Double-winged blades, throwing them into the sky as he remembered his friend once more. This time, a positive memory. His resolve hardened, he bellowed "Double Wings.... take... FLIGHT!" He threw his blades at the goblin who blocked them.  With his blades in the air, he extended him arm torwards them. "Release..... RECOLLECTION!" Renly shouted, achieving Perfect Weapon Control for the first time. The goblin charged him but Renly calmly held out his hand, the goblin being split in two by his weapon and falling in two places around the Knight. He then relaxed a bit, calming his nerves before he noticed the twins. "Renlicchi." Fizel said as she walked torwards him with her hands on her hips. "Well, well  well. Someone's gotten a bit more knightly." Fizel said, lightly teasing him. "We were hoping to get credit for saving you, too bad you had to spoil that." Fizel said with something akin to a pout. Linel sighed. "No one's gonna care that we chopped off way more heads than you did." Both girls looked disappointed, somewhat puzzling Renly. The two then bowed to him, acting in unison. "Sir. Knight, we humbly request your orders." They said, speaking as one. Renly was shocked but quickly gained some composure. "Very well then, keep Kirito and the girls safe." Renly replied. "You don't have to worry about that. We handed them all off to the Supply Corps just now." Renly was a bit suprised and took a moment to come up with another order. "We should secure the area then." This time, Linel answered. "We killed all the goblins here." Renly supressed a gasp, understanding that they must've killed multiple hundreds. "I-if that is the case, I suppose we should return to our units." He told them. The 3 of them proceeded to return to the lines.

Three of the Chiefs had been slain since the battle started. This prompted the mages to send hundreds of their flying minions into the battle. Bercouli watched as the minions foew in from afar. He waited until they were within his trap, only then did he draw his sword. "Time-Splitting Sword. Air Slash!" He swung his sword with all of his strength, springing his trap. The web of slices activated, cutting down all the minions in sky.

I watched the battle continue to unfold. "Kirito's Uncle activated his Perfect Weapon Control. He has made his move." I noted as I condensed the massive ball before me. I saw the Ogres and Dark Mages, it was almost time. I continued to absorb the Sacred Power. 'Why is it that the souls of the fallen below, weather human or demihuman, generate Sacred Power so warm and pure?' I wondered. 'The people of the Human Empire and the Monsters of the Dark Territory have.... essentially, the same souls.' I realized. 'The only difference is weather they were born on one side of the End Mountains or the other? If so tben why are they.... why are we fighting?' I questioned in silence. "Kirito.... if you were here...." I whispered before shaking my head. 'No. I raised my sword against the Pontifex and defied the Axiom Church. It is my duty to see this through now.' I then held the small sphere in my hand. 'As far as maintaining Elements, I am no match for what thousands of Dark Mages are capable of. And converting Sacred Power into Fire or Ice Elements would not be a potent enough Art to zap the Spacial Resources rising from the ravine. However, sealing Luminous Elements inside a mirror would reflect them infinitely.' I thought to myself, remembering the tactic I had formed as well as knowing the weapon I was about to use.

I knew that I was about to kill thousands, but I didn't care. The Dark Territory would hurt Kirito, and that was a sin punishable by merciless death. 'The Burden of taking countless lives for the sake of one, shall be mine to bare.' I continued to myself as I drew my sword. The time for me to unleash my ultimate power was at hand. "Bloom, Flowers!" I commanded, the pedals of my blade swarming out as I pointed my sword at the mirror. My pedals forming into a flower-shaped ring of gold around the mirror. "Burst Element." It was such a simple Incantation for a weapon of mass destruction. With a mere two words, I triggered a beam of divine energy, flooding the battlefield with my fury and power. My face was low, an empty, hollow look on my face as I found so little joy in it. I did not feel remorse for my victims, nor did I regret my actions, I simply found no enjoyment in the weapon I had unleashed which completely forwent honor, integrity, and fairness- it was a weapon of mass destruction that I never wanted to use again. I had took the lives of untold numbers of Dark Warriors, in the blink of an eye, at the drop of a hat, I had eliminated thousands with but two words.
