chapter 17

okay so i'm giving y'all the good shi and going straight to the party ;)

"i'm so ready for this!" robert exclaimed. he & his friends are all in 9th period, waiting for the bell to ring so they can all dash home and get ready for the party.

"do you think there's gonna be hot girls at this thing?" alejandro asked, leaving his head on his hand; alvaro shooting him a look but didn't act upon it.

roshaun scoffed, "yes, there was so many at the last one. you'll love it!" alejandro nodded, giving alvaro a side look when his friend put his head down slightly.

kairi was kind of anxious for this whole event, because he hasn't been at one in a very long time. he was scared that he would see people he wouldn't want to see, so he slumped in his head spacing out, until the bang rang loud in his ear.

he jumped a bit, making his friends chuckle a bit with a flushed face. he picked up his bag and went out the door, mattia catching up with him.

"you good, kai?" he whispered, stopping by kairis locker. kairi sighed, readjusting his bag on his shoulder while putting his book away for the weekend.

"yeah, just nervous for tonight." kairi replied, closing his locker and locking it, facing mattia. mattia looked at his friend with a concerned expression, "it'll be okay. i'll be with you the whole time, i don't think i'll get as drunk anyway."

that made kairi have a faint blush on his cheeks again, he smiled a bit with a nod, "okay."

mattia smiled back and hanged his arm over his small friend, making their way back to kairis house.

"so you'll be hooking up with girls?" alvaro asked alejandro with an hurt expression, his friend looked at him and sighed.

this all started because alejandro was joking around with some classmate about the party, and of course alvaro was being nosy, too nosy.

"no, Al. i was just asking for a conversation. i wouldn't do that to you, you know that." alejandro says, rolling his eyes.

"so you aren't gonna tell people about us?" alvaro pouted, trying not to tear up. well, it was hard not to. he wanted to tell everyone how they are a 'thing' , but they were scared for rejection.

alejandro caressed alvaros cheek and smiled, "we will, it'll be okay." he kissed his forehead, "now let's get ready. we gotta pick up the others."

kairi came out of the bathroom wearing ripped black jeans, and a purple sweatshirt. mattia looked over as his friend asked him, "does look this okay?"

"yes, we aren't going to a fancy restaurant, kai. it's literally some juniors backyard." he laughed, kairi nodded at mattias reply, he put on some vans while mattia headed into the bathroom.

once he was done changing, mattia looked at himself. seeing his hair slightly grown out, putting a self reminder to get a hair cut. his eyes were slightly puffy from the lack of sleep he's been getting every since the encounter with his dad.

he sure did miss home, he missed his mother, his brother and somewhat his dad. but he knew it wasn't good to go back until his mom called. he wondered what they were doing, probably watching soccer or something.

mattia sighed and shook that thought off, he stared at himself once more. he really didn't want to go, he didn't want to drink or anything. he really just wanted to sleep some more, but kairi was too excited for this event. so he decided to suck it up for him.

he opened the door with his changed outfit, (which was sweat pants, a sweatshirt with a shirt as an outer layer. he really didn't care enough) "when's ale coming?"
