Third person POV
Jin and Jungkook had arrived at Namjoon's house and the latter was instantly engulfed in a bone-crushing hug by Mrs. Kim, the moment he stepped into the house.
"Eomma... I need... oxygen!" Jungkook exclaimed as he patted her back repeatedly in hopes that she'd set him free. It was always like this whenever he saw Mrs. Kim which made him certain that he was her favorite out of himself, Namjoon, and Jin.
Jin, who had just finished hugging his father, couldn't help but smile at the predicament that Jungkook was in, even though he was still mad at the latter. He just loved seeing how much Jungkook was loved. That's what made Jin happy because he never wants Jungkook to ever feel unloved since he was abandoned by his birth mother. Jin made a promise to himself the day that he took Jungkook in. He had promised that he would make sure Jungkook never lacked the love of family and he was proud to say that he's kept that promise so far.
"Hyung! Minion! You both made it!" Namjoon exclaimed as he walked into the living room. He had just come from the dining room where he was assisting Hoseok with setting everything up for dinner.
"Joonie! Congratulations on the promotion, I'm so proud of you!" Jin exclaimed before throwing his arms around Namjoon and hugging the latter tightly.
"I'm... so proud... of you, too!" Jungkook strained out as he fought to pry himself between Namjoon and his hyung. He still wasn't a fan of Namjoon hugging Jin even though Namjoon is Jin's adoptive brother and also married. Jungkook just didn't like it when anyone hugged his hyung.
"Still as possessive as ever, huh?" Namjoon teased, just as Jungkook engulfed him in a hug of his own and Jin scoffed. No way Jungkook was possessive over him, not after Jungkook had been ignoring him throughout the rest of the car ride.
"Congratulations hyung, I'm really proud of you!!" Jungkook smiled widely, displaying his bunny teeth.
"Thanks, minion. How's college?" Namjoon asked as he led everyone into the dining room where Hoseok, Jimin, and Yoongi were. Jimin and Yoongi had arrived about half an hour ago.
"Eh, it's alright." Jungkook shrugged as everyone took a seat around the dining table.
"That's not what I understood the last time I called you," Hoseok chimed in as bowls of food were being passed around to everyone so they could serve themselves.
"Hyung!" Jungkook warned but it was too late. Hoseok had already caught the interest of everyone at the table.
                              "What happened?" Jimin asked, curious.
"Well I called him the day before he came home for this break and in the background, I heard a girl say "Oppa, not so hard next time. Now, it hurts to walk but I'm not complaining because last night was amazing."" Hoseok recalled everything he had heard over the phone and was met with a series of gags and disgusted faces from everyone at the table. No one wanted to imagine their precious Jungkook doing less than decent activities. The only person that didn't participate in the gagging and eye rolling was Jin, who instead, was downing his second glass of champagne. It made him sick thinking about Jungkook being sexually active with other people.
"Hyung!" Jungkook blushed crimson and everyone erupted in laughter at how embarrassed he was, while Jin was pouring himself a third glass. He knew it was going to be a long night.
And Jin was right, it was a long night. By the time the conversation finally turned away from Jungkook's love/lust life, Jin had lost count of how many glasses of champagne he'd had.
Unfortunately, the conversation didn't turn to anything better since it was now focused on Jin and his love life, which by the way, was nonexistent at the moment because he was waiting for a certain dunce to realize his feelings.
