Spilling Idol Tea to Edward Avila

Sammy: Hello Stays and KPop fans alike. Today I bring you a collaboration with Edward Avila a makeup Youtuber. Just the basics really. He does videos with idols like ACE and Sorn from CLC and VAV right?
Eddy: Yep.
Sammy: He's also collabed with Big Marvel if you guys know him and DKDKTV. I think we all know DKDKTV with Danny and David.
Eddy: That was recent actually.
Sammy: Yeah, I watched David's video of you spilling hot tea of the k-makeup scene. Now it's my turn to spill idol tea.
Eddy: This'll be interesting. I actually have a few questions about that.
Sammy: Ohhh! Ask away my friend!
Eddy: You're friends with many girl groups, how's that atmosphere like?
Sammy: Like spending time around them?
Eddy: Well is there bullying or-
Sammy: Oh! I get it. Uh actually no. Well the girl groups I'm friends with. Tea on BLACKPINK for a bit. People think they're not close because they have all these separate brands and Instagram accounts with varying followers. Lisa being the most followed. They're super close. Sisters actually.
Eddy: Does it get awkward being friends with so many idols?
Sammy: Nah. I'm the bridge between many groups becoming friends. Irene and Seulgi were the reasons I became friends with Jennie actually. I also had modeled with the girls plenty times before. But with being awkward I will say if you're super close to one idol and then aren't as close to another and you're hanging out with both and you hang all over the one but aren't so much with the other one. That gets awkward. So I tend to hang out with friends I'm super close too.
Eddy: Are we close?
Sammy: I'd hope so... I don't know how you define close but I define it as being able to hang all over each other. Like what I do with Stray Kids.
Eddy: Hmm we're not that close. *sips tea*
*Sammy deadpans*
Sammy: Ok then~

*A Few Minutes Later*

*Awkward silence*
Sammy: Wanna know about the dressing room?
Eddy: Is there much to say about it?
Sammy: Oh you have no idea.
Eddy: Spill.
Sammy: So in the dressing room everyone's getting ready and you're just getting dressed. The thing I'm about to say has happened many times. So it's normally Felix or Chan. They come up and poke my back. Or play with the shirt I'm putting on or back hug me. It's playful but it gets annoying when they keep doing it. Oh and the dressing room is the breeding grounds for self conscious thoughts and anxiety. Sometimes the staff will give you a disappointed glance if you've gained too much weight. So that's why in the Stray Kids dressing room it's only staff we trust. I had all the staff that looked wrongly at any of us kicked out. I don't trust them anymore so they're positions have been switched. You can also get brutal comments on your outfit from stylists and they can make you change up to five times. It's happened before.
Eddy: That must be annoying. I never thought that could happen.
Sammy: Yeah and the staff is mainly female. You have some male staff but not really. It's not a fun place especially when the staff also have biased opinions on how you should look like.
Eddy: Yikes. Have they ever said anything hurtful to you?
Sammy: Oh many times on my skin tone, the scars I have on my back, the scars on my arms, my stomach, how my legs look, what shirt goes better than the one I'm wearing or maybe an entirely different outfit. It's like I'm the targeted one. Of course I sometimes hear them going after Felix and Jisung and that's when it gets personal and I have to shut it down immediately. Cause I've dealt with people's opinions longer in the industry than they have. Although I should have a weaker mentally I've been better. My therapist is super nice. He's awesome. He's actually from the states!
Eddy: Oh! Well at least you're good? Right?
Sammy: Yeah...
Eddy: I have more questions but let's answer fans questions.

Fan: During practice do you get yelled at?

Sammy: All the time! Minho and Hyunjin are relentless. A simple step could be off and they'll be like, "OMG can you just follow along?" That's only when they're annoyed though. After hours of practice we all kinda wanna go home ya know. Normally they're very patient and even joke about it and help us very politely and comfortingly. When I'm training alone is when I have the most peace. So I train alone a lot.

Fan: Is there an idol you hate?

Sammy: Oh many idols actually. Met them once and never wanted to be friends with them. I won't say who because Stays can be rude. Or that fandom can come after me and I'd rather not get that hate.

Fan: Have you gotten phone numbers in your gayo sandwiches?

Sammy: *chuckles nervously* Uhm.... yes?
Eddy: Be truthful.
Sammy: Okay I've gotten like ten.
Eddy: PFTTT!! WHAT!!!
Sammy: I'm a good looking guy! Plus I'm that guy that'll go out and get you pads on your period. I'm not afraid of the looks. If it means helping that person I will.
Eddy: Who's phone numbers?
Sammy: Mainly female idols, I've even had some staff tell me their numbers. The male idols are like, "Hey can we share contact info? I was gonna go out tonight with some friends and I wanted to bring you along." How do you think I got GD's phone number?
Eddy: You have G-Dragon's phone number. That... is an achievement.
Sammy: Yeah, I cried in the bathroom after accepting his offer.
Eddy: Oh my god! *laughs*
Sammy: *laughs* I was a kid!!
Eddy: That's too funny *laughs*

Fan: How do you sort out arguments in the group?

Sammy: We sit down and talk them out of wait a bit till they members chill out before sorting out the problem. We don't like to fight with each other.
Eddy: There is a lot of you so I assume you fight a lot.
Sammy: Not really. We've known each other for a long amount of time and are generally on the same wave length. We also understand each other so it's easy to fix arguments.
