Stray Kids 9th Member ~ Shine Pt.1

Heartbroken...

This is like a little after God's Menu came out and with Sammy's solo comeback. It's gonna get depressing before it gets better I swear.

Day 3 of Stray Kids ignoring me.... sure I had moved from the dorms and into a smaller apartment fit for two people. That wasn't the reason though. Something happened while I had been promoting. Even my own boyfriend had ignored me and Chan normally would tell me if something wrong was going on. I couldn't honestly wrap my head around what was happening.

Stray Kids ignoring me? After us being so close for years? Was it finally my time to hang up my dreams of being an idol and go back home? No... I swore to Chan in 2018 that I wouldn't leave them or him. I was determined to know what was going on.

Day 12 of Stray Kids ignoring me.

I was losing hope. Thankfully Felix cracked under the pressure of my constant questioning. I knew I could get through to Felix. He was just a sweetheart. "JYP found out..."

"Found our about what?"

"Your ex relationships."

"I literally talked about that in my Docu series where they just blind?"

"Then you just seemed as you said a throw away toy." I sigh. "Then why hasn't Chan talked to me."

"They're pulling him away from you."

"And it's much easier now that I live alone huh?"

"Yeah... I'm sorry Hyung! I didn't want to hurt you. We all don't but JYP is... imposing."

"Yeah... I know. Thank you Lixie. I can always trust my little brother." Felix smiles widely and hugs Sammy. "I missed you so much Hyung. It hurts not being able to cuddle and talk with you."

"I missed you too Lix. I missed all of you."

The days stretched on and soon Stays started to notice the silence from me and Stray Kids not talking about me. They were asking questions and nothing was getting answered. By either SKZ or JYP. So I took it upon myself and went to KARD for help. Matthew was glad to help and Somin, Jiwoo, and J.Seph all agreed to join in. I'm so thankful that Matthew doesn't care about idol standards as much as other idols. I guess it's our American blood. He started a Vlive with me and instantly Hidden Kards could tell something was up. "Can you guys spread this Stays and any fan really. Sammy has a message to say and needs your help." I gave a small smile.

I went onto my secret stan Twitter account and saw people start to talk. I had followed a few Hidden Kards and multi fans before the live so that I could see if it was spreading. So I started. "Stays I'm sorry for not being able to be on Stray Kids VLive but... JYP is forcing me away from Stray Kids. Why? Lix told me it was because of my past gay relationships and how JYP thought it was problematic on Stray Kids career. If you didn't know I told everyone about my relationships pretty early on in the docu series I had a couple years ago."

"Who gives a shit if you dated guys when you were younger or had crushes on guys during trainee days or even now. You're still Sammy." BM says. I smile. "I do have to thank you for getting in touch with Chan for me."

"No problem. Anything to help out a friend." Sammy sighs heavily and says to the fans waiting anxiously behind the screen on their devices, "I guess I should say this... Stays should know well by now that I've been open with supporting LGBTQ+ and BLM. But I don't know if you guys knew this but I'm Pansexual. I mean Sophie has spilled it during a Beaver Live once or twice and I've always been fanboying over male idols, female idols, etc. I'm still Sammy despite my sexuality. I'm still human. JYP can't treat me and Stray Kids like this. JYP can't just force me away from my friends without a fight. If you didn't realize this by now JYP, I'm a fighter. Since I was born to now and into the future I will fight for justice not only in my life but others and all across the world. I'm not staying silent now. You can't just force SKZ from me because I'm Pansexual and have dated a few guys in the past. Dating is all about experiencing love and affection and happiness. It can also help you figure out who you are." Sammy starts to ramble on.

"My family never discriminated me for my sexuality. Heck Irene has openly said she's bisexual and everyone screams Queen to the rooftops. Then it goes to the guy in the family and people start to discriminate or the fetishize those men and it just disgusts me. I'm not a toy to be played with. I'm not some game or prize to win. I'm not your gay fetishized fantasy. I'm a human being with emotions and beliefs. I've never tried to force my opinion on others. I've always kept this part of myself quiet because I know others wouldn't like it and Korea is so homophobic it's honestly terrifying to me. Not to mention countries in the Middle East. It's always the youngest generation that gets picked on because of the LGBTQIA+ topic. As well as mental health and misogyny and feminism. It's Gen Z come on. You think we're afraid of you? We're the most broken generation mentally which in turn affects our physical health. We saw war as a common thing. We saw discrimination as an everyday occurrence. WHY SHOULD THIS HAPPEN? Why?" Sammy sits back in his chair and pulls his knees up. "I got raped twice for being pansexual when I was in high school. I say that with the utmost venom towards those guys and their friends who did nothing to help stop the entire thing or educate their friends. So sure call me the f slur all you want and send me death threats and pull me away from my friends but I WILL come back with a fury of a thousand suns and outshine your homophobic racist transphobic pieces of shit." BM looked to Sammy and smiled. "I've admired your tenacity honestly."

JYP later releases a statement saying, "We apologize for our discrimination towards our artist Sammy and to the fans who have been asking for answers." But that wasn't enough for Sammy to forgive JYP. His contract came up and he and his lawyers talked endlessly with the company before they came to an agreement. He left. Stays notices. Of course they'd notice.

In his own company down the street from JYPE his secretary comes in. "Sir Stays have brought gifts at the lobby."

"Tell them I'll be down in five minutes. I need to give JYP a strongly worded email."

*Five Minutes Later*

"STAYS!" He smiled when he came out of the elevator. "You'll be happy to know I'm doing amazingly. Doesn't the lobby look amazing by the way. My sister helped style it. Oh and my family helped pay for the whole building. Don't worry I'm not going bankrupt." Stays screamed.

"We brought gifts!"

"I can see that. Okay but first food is a no no. I'm sorry about that. It's safety reasons." His manager Youngjae was behind him. "Youngjae-Oppa! You're here!"

"I transferred agencies."

"You must love Sammy that much."

"Been with him since 2014. He's treated me well and he's like my own son." Sammy smiles and hugs Youngjae. "I'm grateful for you staying with me Hyung. Really." Youngjae smiles. Sammy turns back to fans. He even signs their Sammy albums and Stray Kids albums and takes selfies with them. Another manager takes the gifts away to be kept safely and to be checked for security reasons.

He basically has a whole fan event in his front lobby. Once that was finished he heads back up to his office and asks his secretary to get the directors ready for a meeting over FaceTime.

"We need to not bash JYPE Samuel! It's dangerous."

"It was a strongly worded email to the CEO! I'm also not bashing him! He's already an ass too so I won't give him the time of day."

"I understand you have hard feelings for the CEO but what about MoonSim's reputation?"

"I have that under control. I'm investing in a company who's CEO I'm close to. But we need to set up terms with BigHit so I can help wherever I can. You know how much I'd help Bang Shi-Hyuk with BTS, TXT, and my own sister!"

"Please keep it business related and leave personal relations out of this."
