I squinted my eyes before looking at Gigi whose snapping her fingers in front of my face "huh yeah?" I asked confused.

"You're zoning out too much" she chuckle then threw her arms around my shoulder. Surprisingly she's been acting so close to me already which is a good thing I guess.

I just finished the second period and we're now heading to the cafeteria to eat lunch.

As soon as we enter the room, students were all over the places peacefully eating their meals, most have been talking while eating and some are playing around. We grab our food and put them in our tray.

"Y/n, Gigi over here!" My eyes darted to the group of people on a table and as we walk in we noticed that it's Gigi's friends.

I sat between Gigi and cara which is overwhelming as fuck.

"How's your read miss bookworm?" Cara asked whilst drinking her diet Coke.

I tucked out a strand of my hair over my ear awkwardly before I answer "it's good".

The presence of everyone in the same table is just too intimidating, I know I shall not feel this way and just act normal but still they're like really cool chic's.

I start to eat my food as they chat and talk about random things and end up with me introducing myself to them telling them more interesting stuffs about me since they have insist that we're all already friends so it's not that bad to share a little about myself to them.

After the break I realize that I have free period and non of my new friends have the same free time as me which is sad for I will be alone again.

"It's cool I'll see y'all later" I smile at them while I watch each of them separate ways going on each different buildings to attend different class.

Gigi told me that as of this moment she's going to be attending her math class.

Slumping my back lazily I walk across the Halls of the corridor as I wonder where to go to read the book that I've borrowed from earlier.

My tracks were stopped when a familiar body figure greeted me from afar.

I look up and notice Lauren standing in the hallway but she's not alone.

There was a man and they seemed to be talking.

Or maybe they're fighting.

A sudden curiosity hit me and giving me the urge to walk past by them or get closer to them so I could know what they are talking about.

But I realize it was a bad idea. I've always been taught that Eve's dropping is bad.

Sighing deeply I just studied their posture and I could definitely tell that something's not wrong.

The man is pointing his finger to Lauren and he seemed to be upset or angry for some reason.

I could also tell that the man is someone important for he's wearing a formal suite with a tie on.

I think he's a professor.

But I can't tell exactly if that's right.

Before I knew it Lauren unexpectedly shout which caught everyone's attention
