(Louis P. O. V)
"Louis! There's a customer at booth six. Go attend to them," Mr. Jorge, my boss said.
I groaned but I made sure the boss didn't hear it. I hate this job. I got it yesterday and I already hate it.
I decided to put on a fake smile, "Will do boss," I said, taking my jotter and pen and walking to booth six.
Five kids are sitting at the booth. Six, counting the baby the little girl was holding.
I couldn't help but feel my smile become genuine when my eyes landed on the girl sitting at the end of the booth.
She seems to be the oldest. She looked like about sixteen. I'm guess they're all siblings, seeing as they all look alike. But there's something about the girl that made my heart want to rip out from my ribcage.
The rest of her siblings seemed to have blue eyes. But her..... She has the eyes of steel. Something about her screams dominance, power and authority.
But at the same time, she looks tired and weak, like she just finished fighting an entire army. Yet, somehow, she also looks like she has the strength of a God and was ready to take on the world.
Whoa! Where did all that come from? How can I judge someone I've only seen for thirty seconds like that?
"Louis!" I snapped out of my thoughts and made my way to the table.
"Good evening kids, what will we all be having?" I immediately regretted what I said. That sounded so freaking dumb! I glanced at the girl who seems pretty uninterested in what I had said.
The kid with the messy hair and sharp jawline walked out of the diner. Jeez did I sound that bad?
"Guys, order what you want. I'll be right back," the Goddess stood up and went after the kid. I admired the way she walked, her silky jet black hair bouncing off her back, her strides are calculated and confident. Like a queen.
Get a grip.
I sighed. I turned around, putting my fake smile back on as I faced the rest. The younger girl looked uninterested, she whispered something to the guy that looked a lot like the one that stormed out.
The guy smiled mischievously at me. I don't know why but these guys scare the shit out of me.
"I would like to see your menu," the kid said. I gave him the diner's menu and not two seconds later he said.....
"I want everything on this side of the menu," he said, pointing at the left side. My jaw drops.
"Kid, there's thirty-five different kinds of food on that side of the menu. Are you sure that's what you want?"I said raising an eyebrow. However, the kid looked annoyed by what I said.
"Let me put this in words you understand. I. Freaking. Want. Everything. On. This. Side. Of. The. Fucking. Menu! Understood?" He said rudely. My blood boiled at the disrespect coming from the punk. How dare he!
Who the hell does this kid think he i The son of a freaking drug Lord or something?
I decided I won't talk back to the kid or else I'll end up beating the shit out of him. And I still want that Goddess out there, and beating up her little brother will not help me.
I raised my hand in surrender and walked back to the kitchen. A few minutes later, I served the kids everything on the whole left side of the menu.
My eyes will be scarred forever after watching him and his little brother devour the whole thing. I've never seen a human's mouth expand that much!
