chapter 51: what do you mean missing?!

(Ranger's P. O. V)

This is so weird. I spent the entire day alone, cause Ryan and Amalia weren't in school. It's not like I don't have other friends, cause I do. I just really hate hanging out with those people. So I'm guessing they weren't really my friends.

School was finally over, I've been calling Ryan and Amalia but they still won't pick up. I got into my limo and told the driver to take me back to Ryan's house. I need to know what is going on.

The panel separating the driver and I was up, giving me some privacy which I enjoyed.

I felt my phone vibrate, I picked it up and saw that someone sent me a picture and it's from an unknown number. I tapped the notification and a picture appeared.

"WHAT THE BLOODY HELL???!!!!" I exclaimed.

It was a picture of Amalia and Ryan tied to chairs and blindfolded. Amalia looked like she was crying and Ryan looked like he was struggling against the ropes.

The unknown number suddenly started video calling and I panicked. What does he want? Who is he? What does he want with me and my friends? Should I record the conversation and tell Roxy? I decided on the latter and decided to put the phone on record as I picked it up.

"Hello?" I answered as I saw nothing but darkness on the other side.

"I would turn off the recording if I were you." A deep voice said on the phone.

"What do you-"

"I said turn off the recording! NOW!" He said.

"Okay! Okay!" I said and turned off the recording.

"Good kid, now I'm going to give you an address and you're going to go there."

"And why the hell would I do that?" I demanded and immediately regreted it. The screen was faced to where Amalia and Ryan were tied. men wearing a black mask were carrying guns and pointing it at their heads making my eyes widen. "Please don't hurt them I'm coming!"

"Good. And I swear I will shoot them both in the head if you even dare tell anyone about this. Especially your sister, understand?"

I sighed. "Yes."

"Great. Now I'll send you the address, my men will come pick you up from there." The guy said before ending the video call.

The address led to a store in the middle of nowhere. My driver stepped down with me after asking me a million times why I decided to come here.

His name is Albert and not only is he my driver, but also my personal bodyguard. We were inside the store, just walking around until two guys wearing masks walked in.

Albert immediately shoved me behind him and brought out his handgun and telling me to be quiet. We hid behind one of the isles as the men wearing masks walked around.

I seriously wondered how I was going to lose Albert without these guys hurting him. I noticed Albert's back was to me so I decided to silently sneak away. I found my way in front of the two guys as they both reached out to grab me.

"Ranger! Get down!" Albert yelled and it all happened so fast. There were gunshots and bullets flying everywhere. I crouched down and covered my eyes until the gunshots stopped. I opened my eyes and saw that one of the men in masks was shot.

I looked around for a while and didn't see Albert. "Albert?! Albert are you okay?!"

Maybe he's behind one of the isles, it's important he escapes and goes back to tell Roxy about this. One of the men grabbed me and forced me out of the store.
