chapter 41: You don't remember me?

"You know, for multi billionaires. You would think that when they are going for a vacation, they would pack enough clothes to last a year for a vacation of ten days. But that's the opposite for you guys, only one suit case? Really?" Ximena said looking at our bags the guards were bringing in.

We were all exhausted to bring it in yesterday, so the guards are bringing it in this morning. We're all having breakfast when Ximena saw the men bring in six suit cases. Ruby was beside me eating her Nutella sandwich, she hasn't said a word to anyone since this morning and I'm a bit worried.

"I thought we're staying a month?" Amalia asked from beside Ranger.

"We are. We are just not those type of people that change clothes every two hours." Ranger explained.

"And besides, those suit cases are half your height Xima." Rolland said from the other side of the living room. Everyone turned to him raising a brow.

"Xima?"

"What? It's my nickname for her." He shrugged and Ximena rolled her eyes.

"Guys!" Raelynn exclaimed as she rolled herself into the living room. "Good morning."

"Morning."

"Here you go sweetie." Ximena said handing her a bowl of cereal.

"So what are we all doing today?" Ronan asks and we all think.

"I say we go into town." Amalia suggests.

"I say we go to the beach!" Raelynn exclaims and we all give her a sad look. It's sad, cause she won't be able to swim due to her.... well, condition. "Why are all of you looking at me like that? I wanna build sand castles."

We all gave her a sad smile. If there's something I have known about Raelynn, it's that she doesn't care about her condition, and I admire her for that. She's such a strong girl, a true Ferrer.

"I have a friend that just arrived here yesterday, she said we can meet her at the beach.....Okay, how about we do this. Everyone write down what we should do today and put in this jar. We shake it up and Roxy picks one blindfolded, whatever she picks is what we'll do today."Ximena suggests and we all agree.

After everyone had written down what they wanted to do today (except Ruby and I) they all put it in a jar and blindfolded me. After shaking it up, I picked one and removed my blindfold and read it.

"Well?"

"Looks like we're going to the beach."

Since it was Raelynn's idea to go to the beach, she decided that she wanted to go to the public beach. Which kind of annoyed me, there was a private beach a few feet away from here. But no.... she wanted to be near people. And little does she know, how much I hate people. (Except my siblings, Ximena and Amalia. But that's it.)

She also insisted that we go without guards, that they'll scare people away from us. At first I declined, but then she gave me.... what did they call it again? I think it was called puppy dog eyes or some shit and I caved in.

Although, I did tell the guards to stay a few meters away from us. Just for safety. But they don't need to know that.

Ruby said she wanted to stay back, that she wasn't feeling well. I wanted to stay with her, but she insisted I go with the rest, that she'll be fine. But I still enforced some guards around the cabin. For her safety.

Okay, I guess we can all agree I'm a safety freak.

So now, everyone is having fun in the water, while Raelynn is a few feet away from me building a sand castle. I sometimes notice her staring at the other kids playing together in the water.
