chapter 16: she scarred me[edited]

"LOUIS!!!"

I jolted up from my sleep at the sound of my name, I look around in conclusion.

"What did you do now?" I heard Rolland groan. I scowled at him.

"LOUIS!!!"

That voice.

"Where's Roxy?!" Ronan asked, the bed Roxana is ought to be in is now vacant. I started to put the pieces together.... Realization of what she did dawned on me.

"I can't believe it...." She actually did it. I ran out of the room, am I dreaming?

"Kelly!" On the other end of the hallway is my little sister covered in dirt. I ran up to her, engulfing her in a tight hug.

"I missed you," I said kissing her forehead.

"She...she's injured! Please help her!" Kelly said crying.

"Roxy?! Where is she?!" Ronan looked like the one that is really freaking out. It's nice to know his talking more now.

"Come!" Kelly yelled and started running. Ronan followed her, I trailed behind along with the others.

We saw a black Ford jeep and Ronan bolted for it. He stopped dead in his track once he saw the driver seat.

He fell to the ground, crying? I ran to the door and what I saw will scar me for the rest of my life.

"No no please what did you do?!" Ronan said from the floor " please not you to "

There, on the driver seat of the car, is Roxanna covered in blood with her head was resting on the steering wheel. What bothered me most is she isn't moving. She looked... No she can't be.

Why....why wasn't she moving? I turned to Kelly whose eyes are as red as blood.

"What the bloody hell happened to her?!" I yelled at her causing her to flinch back.

"She...she came to save me...she got shot three times," everyone had a look of shock at Kelly's words. Shot? What in the world was my stepmom doing that she needed armed men?

"Three bullets!" Rolland exclaimed. Ronan kept shaking on the floor before finally standing up.

"Brother, help me Carry her," Ronan said and Rolland nodded. Pure rage coursed through my veins.

"We should take her to the hospital Damn it!" They all ignored me and lifted Roxanna and took her inside the motel.

What is wrong with these people?! First Roxanna is mean and heartless then she risks her life for Kelly. Who is that girl?

Are they criminals or some shit?! I let out a frustrated groan before following them.

"What happened?" The man in the reception asked as his eyes fell on Roxanna.

"She was shot. Sir, we can't call a hospital or--"

"Say no more. Follow me," the man instructed as he led us to another room. Inside is a stretcher along with other medical supplies. It's an infirmary. "I'm gonna have to ask you guys to leave, only two people can stay." The man said.

"I'll stay," I blurted out causing them to glare at me.

"No, you are a stranger. You don't even care about Roxanna," Rolland said with clenched fists.

"Of course I care about her! She saved my sister!" I say with utmost honesty.

"Would you both get the FUCK OUT! Ruby and I will stay and it's not up for discussion! She's dying damn it!" Ronan said angrily. I glared at Rolland as we both left the room.
