chapter 14: Rescue mission [edited]

(Roxy's P. O. V)

"Guys I'm alright. It was just a nightmare," I said to my siblings. I just got back and they all tackled me to the floor in a bear hug and kept firing question at me.

It's been like two minutes and they still haven't let go of me. Raelynn was lying on the bed just staring at us.

I remember the doctor telling us to bring her back in a months time. I might not know much about her condition or what exactly she's going through, but I will make sure she's alright.

"But you ran away screaming. You never act like that," Ranger said with a worried expression plastered on his face.

Oh this is all my fault. If I didn't react like a little girl who had a stupid nightmare, they wouldn't be so worried. Why do I always do this? This was what caused Ronan to witness our parents corpse scattered all over the floor.

My foolishness.

But I won't make that mistake. Never again.

A familiar yet unfamiliar voice coursed through the air. It was raspy, deep but not too deep, innocent... "What did you dream about?"

I heard Louis mutter a so he does talk to himself. If someone else had asked I would have lied, but I find it hard lying to Ronan especially when he actually talks to me.

"I-I dreamt I lost you guys," I stuttered and pinched my eyes closed. I felt my siblings hug me tighter. This is the comfort I need, My family.

I looked at Louis, he wasn't smiling and he wasn't frowning either. He was lost in thought, I know what he's thinking about.

Kelly.

We're really in the same position. We both lost our parents, We both want to protect our siblings with our lives. We both would die for them.

But the difference is, he would protect Kelly the legal way. But I would protect my siblings at absolutely any cost.

"Come here," I said, gesturing for him to join us. He smiled at me and joined our family hug.

I waited till everyone was asleep. Once I was assured they are all asleep, I wore a black mask over my face making sure it was only my eyes that can be seen. I put on my boots and quietly brought out my AK-47 from its hiding place.

Once I was certain I had everything I needed, I quietly sneaked up to the door. Just as I was about to turn the knob, I glanced at my siblings sleeping peacefully on the bed. Louis sleeping peacefully on the floor.

I crouched down to look at his face, to be honest he looked so handsome in his sleep. So.... Angelic.

I don't know why I am doing this for him. But I'll be damned if I return without Kelly. With that in mind I left the motel.

I'm coming for you Kelly.

Once I found the house with the number 176, I parked a few houses down. I adjusted the mask over my face and made sure the hood was placed perfectly over my head.

I made sure to put extra bullets in my hoodie, just in case. I have no idea what I am dealing with. But then again, they aren't in the mafia so they won't really need that much bodyguards.

Four guards are stationed at the gate, maybe there's an easy way to do this. But then again for the witch to cut off an innocent little girl's toes, I'm guessing I can't just barge in and ask for Kelly. So we're just going to do this the hard way.
