STEFAN SALVATORE COULD never choose. Everyone knew he had a favorite but they were both his best friend. His older brother, Damon, the brave soldier. And Calliope. Calliope Artemis Salvatore. His and Damon's older sister.

Before Katherine, Calliope ruled the Salvatore's. It was a given considering she was the oldest.

"Stefan! Telling Damon where you're going to hide so you two can team up is cheating. You know I cannot run fast!" Calliope Salvatore whined as Damon was tickled at her being caught for the third time.

"Callie, you cannot say it is not amusing each time Damon finds a way to detect your very predictable hiding spots."  Stefan said as he held his stomach from laughter.

"You are quite fond in seeing me in despair, aren't you?" Calliope stood, dusting of her dress.

"It is quite enjoyable." Damon teased.

Calliope sighed, the memories of her younger brother's haunting her yet again. Louisiana seemed to be the best place for her, close to them but somewhere they'd never find her. Not like they'd bother to look, they don't even know she's alive.

"You know you could just stay in the compound and not work that dead end bartender job to pay for that shitty apartment." Marcel Gerard's voice said.

"Babysitting Davina and helping that god awful bitch, Cami, is not dead end. In all my hundred and eighty one years of living, never have I met someone so annoying. She's optimistic and chipper." Calliope replied, her aggravation clear.

"You say that about every woman you meet."

"I didn't say that about Davina?" Calliope defended.

"Callie, you hate her because you're a pessimist and think the world is going to end every five minutes."

"Come on, Marcel. You can't tell me that you don't think Klaus Mikaelson is going to come storming back to New Orleans to claim back his town that he built." Callie fired back, entering the bar, Rousseau's.

"There's loyalty here, I thank him for everything he's done but New Orleans is my town now. He isn't going to take anything." Marcel responded.

"I gotta go, Cami's headed this way and I don't want you to hear me being annoyed by her presence." Callie muttered quickly, knowing Marcel was listening.
