chaptertwenty seven. the worst betrayal ════ ⋆͛♡⋆͛ ════
ELIZA GASPED LOUDLY, anger filling her. Her hands flew up to the back of her head, pain circling the area where Rebekah hit her. Isaac groaned awake next to her, his hand touching his bruise as well.
She sat up in what seemed like a moving truck. It wasn't the huge black SUV Klaus usually drove in. Rebekah, Stefan and Klaus were nowhere to be found. She yelped as she cracked her neck, pain soaring through where Rebekah hit her.
Eliza pushed herself into a standing position and raised her arm to her shoulder and threw it towards the truck door, instead of opening, it blew it clean off.
"Are you okay?" Eliza directed her attention to him.
"I don't want to be here anymore, Eliza. Your friends put us in life endangering positions every chance they get." Isaac started to hyperventilated.
"Hey, hey. If you want to leave, we can. Right now, I have unfinished business so I have to stay with Klaus. But know that I will never put you in harms way. I'll call my dad and tell him open the guest bed." Eliza nodded, pulling her phone from her bra.
"I don't know how to control it. I don't wanna hurt your family, Liz." Isaac started to slow.
"Our. Our family. And that's a problem that can easily be solved." Eliza's hand went to cup his face. "Nothing means more to me than making you safe." Eliza smiled.
Isaac didn't want to leave her, that was the last thing he wanted to do. If someone didn't make Eliza leave Mystic Falls, it would be the death of her. "Liz, I'm not going anywhere without you." Isaac stopped her.
"You're right. It's not safe. I will find us somewhere to go." Eliza smiled sadly.
"I'm not going without you. Whatever you need to finish up here, we'll do it together." Isaac reasoned.
Eliza sighed. She nodded slowly before looking around her, "Where the hell are we?"
She hopped out and looked around, trying to gain a clear view of where she was. She should've just turned away from it when she laid eyes on it. The big bulging sign that read 'MYSTIC FALLS HIGH SCHOOL: GO TIMBERWOLVES'
Why the hell was Klaus in a high school? And why in Mystic Falls?
Eliza facepalmed, aggravation already building in her. "Stay here. Do not move. If you move, I will make you sleep at the Lockwood Mansion. Right next to Tyler's room."
