You did well, Kong

Oak, his friend from 911 asked Kong if he was coming with the ambulance and that brought him back to reality and nodded. He didn't even realize that it was Oak who entered the room earlier, he can barely remember if he did anything to help him attend to Arthit.

He rode the 911 ambulance and instructed Tum to follow after asking Ple to prepare clothes for them.

The whole ride, Arthit was slipping in and out of consciousness and the wrinkling on his face shows that despite the initial medicine injected to him, the pain is still there.

When they arrived in the hospital, a private ER was prepared for Arthit as they didn't want anything to slip out to the media.

"Snap out of it Kong!" Tew's shout brought Kong back to reality. He didn't even realize that his friend was already pushing the bed to the ER as he was just frozen on the spot.

Kong is still lost in trance as the view of Arthit in the bathroom and the bed kept on flashing his mind. The blood in the toilet bowl, the sweat all over his face body, the tears in his eyes, everything is new to Kong that he can't stop thinking about it.

A tap on his shoulder made him turn to see Knot standing beside him, he didn't even notice that the private ER door has closed.

Seeing Knot made Kong realize that he got tears falling down on his face which he wiped off immediately. Aside from being Tew's lover, he has met Knot several times during the wedding preparation and he knows that among his four best friends, Knot is the closest to Arthit. He knows how much Knot loves his own best friend as he can remember the times when Knot would come over to pick Tew up even before the whole arrange marriage happened.

Each minute pass with them inside the ER is taking Kong's breath away, Arthit's situation in the bathroom kept on playing in his mind.

"It must have been so bad this time." Knot's statement called his attention.

"Do you know if when did this started?" Kong asked.

"It was when he was taking up his MBA while juggling his job in the company. You know how he started from the lowest position right? Everyone seemed to be testing him that time and MBA wasn't helping either that one day we had to bring him the hospital and found out its gastric ulcer." Knot explained and he can see how Kong's worried expression deepen.

"There were times that he ended up in the ER due to ulcer but it has been some time since he had to face that." Knot added and that made Kong feel worse than he already does as he never had any idea about his husband, all he knows are the basic details he read online.

Almost an hour later, Tew came out, tiredness visible in his face. Kong and Knot immediately approached him.

"How is he?" Kong asked.

"He's going to be moved to a VIP room now and the security has been informed so let's just hope that there will be no slip out to the media about what happened tonight." Tew started.

"I'll have Toota look into it first thing in the morning." Knot answered.

"How... how about his condition Tew?" Kong gripped his knuckles as he waited for his best friend to explain.

"There was a tear in his stomach lining which caused the vomiting of blood." Tew tried to stall it earlier as he saw how bad Kong looks like but of course, he still had to explain to the patient's family present.

"We are now transfusing blood and for now, surgery is not yet an option and let's hope it stays that way." He gave a Kong a stern look before he continued.
