Charlotte's p.o.v. . .

I kissed him! Omg! I kissed zayn freaking malik! I kissed the person who I hate the most.well, not the most. I hate Sloan the most but whatever.

Wait, actually I don't hate zayn at all! It's just that I dislike him for what he did to Tyler. I have nothing personal against him.

And speaking of Sloan, he's still dating her. You can't just go around kissing other girls when you're dating someone else.

But I kinda actually liked the kiss. Just kidding! I loved the kiss. It was the perfect first kiss that I dreamt of. Just with the wrong person. He seemed so experienced and I was just going with the flow. I just hope he didn't notice my lack of experience.

After the kiss we just came home awakardly without saying anything to each other. The entire car ride was silent. I swear to god, that was the most awkward car ride of my life. How am I ever going to face him again? I thought and that was the moment when I heard a knock on my window and it was none other than my lovely friend who I just got kissed by.

"What the hell do you think you're doing ? " I asked opening the window.

" I just couldn't sleep " he said entering my room.

" Just because you can't sleep doesn't mean that you can show up in my room in the middle of the night like a creepy stalker and scare the shit out of me! " I said crossing my arms over my chest.

" I just wanted to talk " he said

"This is not the time zayn!"I said

" please! It's important. I wanted to umm.. . talk about t-the umm.. k - kiss "he said nervously.

"It didn't mean anything okay! It was just... umm.. in the moment sort of thingy " I said trying to sound casual about it.

A smile spread across his face and he said " if it didn't mean anything, then why are you still awake? "

"What? It has nothing to do with the kiss! " I said defending myself.

"Yes it does " he said

" no it doesn't "I argued.

" you sound like you're trying to convince yourself about it " he said.

" Fine! It was my first kiss okay! Of course it meant something " I said accepting defeat.

"Really? " He asked totally amused.

"Yeah. Go ahead, laugh at me " I said looking at my feet.

"Why would I laugh at you? " He asked confused.

"Because I'm 18 and it was my first kiss.. duh! "

"There's nothing to be ashamed of " he said sitting on my bed.

" oh really?" I asked "when was your first kiss then?" I asked crossing my arms over my chest again.

"You don't wanna know that" he stated.

"Yes I do " I demanded.

" I don't really remember. It was when I was somewhere around nine or ten years old " he said

"Really? " I asked

"Yeah " he said "but that's not the point right now."

" oh right! What did you wanna talk about?" I asked

"Don't freak out okay!" He said turning serious.

"Okay " I said doubtfully.

"Look charlotte, I really  really like you. And I don't know what happens to me when I'm with you.

And I just love the way you talk and question almost everything and the way you blink your eyes a multiple times when you don't like something or don't understand something. In short, I love everything about you! So will you please be my girlfriend?" He asked extremely nervous.

I was utterly dumbfounded at this moment. I didn't know what to do or think. Till  now I just used to think that zayn was extremely  attractive. I never thought about being his girlfriend.

"Huh?" I said almost in  a whisper.

"You want me to say that again?"

He asked raising an eyebrow.

"No no no, I heard what you said and I'm.. just... I don't know.. really shocked I guess! " I said and he just nodded.

"Wait a second " I said crossing my arms over my chest " aren't you dating Sloan? "

"No. I broke up with her" he simply said.

" oh" was all I could say.

We stayed like that for a few minutes before zayn cleared his throat and said" so... umm. You gotta say something you know"

"I don't know zayn. I've never thought about this." I said not looking at him.

"It's okay. Take your time to think. I'm just gonna go anet you think" he said and with that he exited the room.

What just happened? I still couldn't register the fact that zayn malik asked me to be his girlfriend!

I had no idea about what I was gonna do.

So I just went to bed and tried sleeping.
