Chapter 16. Seeing friends again

"Excuse me Y/N?" the Nurse says as she slowly steps into your hospital room where you were found reading to yourself. It was three days after the villain incident. You were still weak and healing after the surgery you had after arriving to the hospital due to having stab wounds all over your body.

"Yes?" You reply to the nurse as you put down your book with a smile, "we have some people here to see you, may they come in?" Your smile widens as your heart flutters. You haven't really socialized with anyone since you came to the hospital other then nurses and doctors of course so you were excited to see who it was.

"Yes!" You almost yell happily as you sit up. The nurse laughs as she walks out of the room, you start to hear quiet chattering and giggles as you sit there in silence. "SURPRISE!" the door bursted open as your class steps into the room, you slightly jump from the surprise as your face turns red in embarrassment. "Hi guys!"

Your classmates were all so excited to see you, they all brought gifts and "get well soon!" Balloons and Sato even baked a cake for the occasion, but one thing was missing and that thing was Iida. You were disappointed to see that he wasn't there but you were sure that he had a reason. The class had noticed that you were kinda disappointed "hey don't worry Y/N! Iida is coming after we leave, he has his own surprise for you!" Kirishima says with his signature smile "o-okay!" You reply as you get back to hanging out with your friends.

"Hey guys...thank you so much for saving me I'm not sure what I would do without you guys.." you say softly as tears slowly form in your eyes "it was no problem Y/N..we only got a little slap on the wrist from the teachers..but please don't cry.." Uraraka says trying to give you a comforting smile "d-don't worry it's happy tears..you guys are all just amazing!"

"Bye Y/N!" The class yells as they wave goodbye and walk out of the room "that was fun.." you say to yourself with a sigh. It was a couple hours later and you were once again reading when you hear a knock on the door "come in!" You yell as you put the book down. As your door slowly opened you watched as Iida walked into the room with a back pack some F/C flowers and a gift. "H-hey Y/N.." he says but before he could do anything you had quickly jumped up from your hospital bed and hugged him tightly "I missed you..." you say softly as you hug him tighter. He slowly wraps his arms around you "I missed you too.."

"So I got you a few things" Iida says as he puts the flowers on the bedside table and hands you a small gift box. You open the box to see a necklace with a F/C gemstone "thank you so much Iida!" You say happily with a sweet smile "h-heh it's no problem"

"Come on sit down" you say patting the area next to you on the hospital bed, Iida sits down with a smile. "So I was thinking we could watch a movie?" He suggests, you nod in agreement "sure" Iida took out his laptop and placed it on the bed "what would you like to watch?" He asks with a smile "um..how about F/M?" ( favourite movie )

You were now watching your favourite movie with Iida next to you, you were happy and calm to be with your best friend like this after a few months of stress and danger. As the movie went on you slowly felt yourself falling asleep, Iida noticed this and slowly tried to get up but you held his arm stopping him "please don't go.." you say with a yawn as your eyes were already half closed. He smiles getting back into bed, he put his laptop away and once he looked back at you, you were asleep. He smiles seeing you so calm but his face turns red as he realizes the situation that he was in. His crush had just fallen asleep and was now cuddling up to his arm.

Iida decides to try and relax so he takes of his glasses placing them in the bedside table and slightly cuddles up to you and soon falls asleep but before he did he mumbles..

"Goodnight Y/N.."
