W:did u bring ur book home from mr.fritz's classroom?

C: shit, I forgot.

W:that's ok lol, I have it.

C: I can come to ur house and pick u up if u want.

W:Ya sure that'll work

C: ok, see u later

I tossed my phone to my bed and grabbed the towel off from behind my door. I walked into the bathroom next to my room and closed the door.
Locked it.
I put the towel on the floor of the bathroom. I leaned in to the mirror, admiring my face and body. I saw the steam coming from the shower so I knew the water was hot enough. I hung my jacket on the door hanger and took of my shirt, throwing it to the floor. I took of my pants and underwear and threw it to the floor next to me. I slid the shower curtain to the side and got into the shower. The water was hot, so hot, and I immediately was brought back to memories from last night. I missed his presence, his touch, his words, his lips. It kept replaying in my head, just like that night.
My phone rang: 7 messages from "Cj Hatch"
what the hell, I thought. I shut off the water and I jumped out of the shower.

C:Hey 4:04pm
C:Hello? 4:05pm
C:Answer plz 4:05pm
C:Winston?! 4:07pm
C:Heyyy 4:07
C:Come to the diner early plz, hurry!! 4:09pm

I was so confused, what did he want?

W:Hey sorry I was in the shower, why do u want me to come so early??
4:11pm

C:my parents said they're having guests over at 6:30 and I need to be there, plz come early I'm already here.
4:12pm

W:um okay ya, I'll be right there in about 10 mins

I turned off my phone and went to my room to put on the clothes I had set before my shower. I put on my black pants and white shirt with an oversized jacket. I felt rushed but I didn't understand his hurry, it was still only 4 o'clock but the sun was coming down. Fucking winter.
I went into the bathroom and sprayed in some cologne and hopped down the stairs. I grabbed my water bottle and my backpack from the table I had set it on when I got home and slid on my white converse. I pressed the button to unlock my car and got in. I opened the garage and put my car in reverse and drove off. As I was pulling out of the driveway, the lights of a another car driving towards me blinded me for a second as I put my hand up in front of my face. I got out of the driveway and drove down the street to the diner.
