I watched him walk into that house and then into that garage and just a few.minutes later him this other girl walk back in. The sing ended just as he walked in.

Matt came up from behind me and gave me a side hug patting me on the back and laughing, "YO PLAY THE MUSIC!" He yelled shaking me with one arm.

Everyone else cheered and yelled after him anticipating the next song.

I was staring at Winston from across the room and he was staring back. The girl he came in with put something in her pocket and grabbed Winston by the arm laughing and encouraging him to dance with everyone else. I could tell by his awkward expression and forced bouncing that he was uncomfortable but was trying to play it off, just like I was. The only lights in the room were coming from the colored LED lights that people had brought and plugged into the wall, shining all hues of purple, blue and pink onto our faces. I was standing still in the middle if everyone jumping and dancing and yelling, still staring at Winston. That girl Rafaela and 2 other boys including CJ had walked up to him and started dancing with everyone else around them. Winston still seemed uneasy but was going along with it, having fun, without me.

A sudden wave of jealousy came over me and I felt my cheeks getting red. But I could stop staring. Without thinking I grabbed the closest girl I could find, a brunette in my grade that was wearing solely her cheer uniform. I stared into her eyes, making sure Winston was watching, so he could feel he made me feel. I wrapped my arm around her waist, her eyes lit up and I could tell she was intrested. I kissed her once and then spun her around so she couldn't see my face because I was looking directly at Winston. He was glaring at me and the smile on his skinny face faded into a slight grin and his eyes were relaxed. He stopped moving and then started to walk directly towards me. But I was fooled when he made a sharp right turn, squeezing his small body between the massive crowd blocking the stairs. Just like that, he was gone and up the stairs, I couldn't hear the door slam but I was almost 100% that there was one.

I regretted what I had done immediately, it was so stupid but I did it out of jealousy. I wanted him to be dancing with me, smiling at me, kissing me. At this point it was too late to go after him because I'm sure he didn't want anything to do with me and this girl was already too involved, I couldn't just leave her here, it would be too suspicious. My heart was beating faster than it ever was before. I hugged the girl from behind and tried to slowly walk away from her without her noticing, hoping she was drunk enough to not notice me or that she might confuse some other guy with me. My fingers slipped away from hers and soon she was almost five feet away. I turned as soon as she was out of sight.

I was suddenly met by Aiden, the one who assaulted Winston last year. He was holding a box full of lollipops. His eyes were big and buggy and he had a giant smile on his face.

"Her take one," he smirked.

I furrowed my eyebrows and made a weird face, "What is this?" I took a red lollipop out of the box and started to unwrap it in a hurry.

"Weed lollipop," he whispered over the blaring music.

My eyes widened almost as big as his, "That's illegal, put that away," I said grabbing his arm.

He rolled his eyes, "Oh my god, pussy," he chuckled, "Its not even that strong, we're eighteen anyways so it's not that big of a deal."

I didn't want to want to ruin the party so I took one, patted him on the shoulder and shoved the lollipop into my pocket, heading up the stairs after Winston.
