"Crush" that was the word that came to mind when I thought of Molly. Forbidden love. I was sure that I had never and would never fall in love with a girl because I have never been attracted to one. But Molly was different. I was confused with how I felt with her at the lake when she revealed her body and her breasts while taking off her shirt; It felt like there was someone tickling my stomach from the inside.

"I don't know how I feel," I told Elio. I had invited him to stay the night when Molly dropped us off. He agreed without a second and thought and shrugged off a simple, "Sure."

"Well, do you like her?" He sat across from me at the long island in my kitchen, tapping the marble top with his fingers and tossing a chip into his mouth from the big bag of Lays we were sharing.

"Ugh," I moaned and turned, folding my back over the table and spreading my arms out before quickly going to back to my original position, "I don't know, that's the thing because I've only known her for so long and I just get this feeling in my stomach like something is trying to escape my body and I just..."

"What?"

"I don't know," I replied with a quick breath, "I've never felt anything for girls really," I stopped myself from saying anything further, surprised by how open I had just been with Elio, someone I met yesterday, "I don't know why I'm even telling you this, I just met you."

He chuckled softly, "Yeah, well I mean, you could be bi," He suggested.

I tilted my head and looked up at the ceiling, "Hm," I said, "maybe."

"You know I'm bi, right?" He asked.

I was taken aback, "Uh-" I raised my eyebrows, "No...But! Now that you mention it, I guess I assumed that there was a tiny part of you that was queer, yes."

He laughed awkwardly, "Mhm," he threw another chip in his mouth.

"Are you uh..." I sat down in the chair a couple seats away from him, "Are you going to the graduation party on Saturday?"

He smiled, "I don't go to Liberty so I'm gonna go with no."

I giggled and ran my fingers through my long hair, "I meant, did you get invited by someone?"

He wiped his hands together in attempt to remove the grease and chip bits from his fingers, "No," he replied simply, "Not yet at least."

"Not even CJ?" I asked him.

He rolled his eyes, "Were not talking to him anymore, remember?"

I remember everything they said at the lake, still wondering why they stopped being friends with him, "Oh."

"Yeah."

"Why is it exactly that you guys stopped talking to him?"

"Its a long story and I might be exposing some people if I tell you-"

A sudden knock cam from the front door and cut him off in the middle of his sentence.

I raised my eyebrows.

"Where you expecting someone?" He asked me.

"No," I replied walking quickly to the door.

I opened it with hesitation, half expecting some serial killer to shoot me but I shooed those thoughts away with a quick blink.

Molly was standing at the door, drenched in rain water and mascara running down her face. You could tell that she had been crying for at least an hour now.

"Oh my god, what are you doing here?" I stood there, holding the door half open.

She didn't say anything at first but finally blurted something out, "Can I uh," She wiped away her tears which where blended in with the rainwater on her cheeks, "Can I stay the night I need somewhere to go and home just really isnt the best option for me right now and I understand if you cant-"

"Of course," I stopped her in the middle of her rant.

She quivered and stepped inside slowly, taking off her thick—now wet—jacket and plopped it down on the floor behind her.

I made eye contact with Elio across the room, trying to tell him to not make a big deal and just ignore her.

She waddled slowly towards the kitchen, "Do you have a bathroom- or, no, obviously you have a bathroom, I mean where is you're bathroom?"

"Just down past the kitchen and then first door to your right," I grinned softly.

She forced a smile, but her pain was obvious behind the mask of false happiness.

She entered the bathroom and gently closed the door behind her.

"What the hell?" Elio whispered to me as soon as I sat back down.

"Just leave it," I inhaled deeply and sighed, "Lemme go pick up her stuff from the floor, wait."

I picked up her jacket from the floor and folded it softly on my arms, staining my sleeves with water. I hung it up on the door hanger inside the closet right infront of the entrance, as I let go of the jacket and closed the closet door I looked down to roll up my sleeves but was instead met with a small blotch of blood on my sleeve.

"What the fuck?" I cringed.

"What?" Elio called out from the kitchen.

I opened back up the closet and check the jacket for any blood stains. I couldn't see any blood on the black leather so I ran my fingers down the arm of the jacket and at the very end of the jacket sleeve, came off onto my fingers, a stain of red.

"Oh my god, is she hurt?" I asked Elio with serious intention.

"Molly?" Elio and I called for her, running to the bathroom.

"Are you okay?" I knocked on the bathroom door.

"What? What do y-you mean?" her words were slurred and groggy.

Her footsteps echoed in the bathroom as if she was dancing.

A sudden, loud, and noisy THUMP emerged from the bathroom followed my a short groan and then silence

I shot a glance at Elio in confusion, "Hello?"

I knocked on the door, "Molly?"

No response.

"Shit," Elio cursed.

I was playing with my fingers in anxiousness, "Molly, I'm coming in," I warned her before sliding open the bathroom door.

I gasped and took a step back from the bathroom, "Fuck!"

Elio put a hand over his mouth and grabbed onto my shoulder.

Molly was laying there on the floor, collapsed and unconscious. Her face was pale and her lips were a light shade of blue.

"Call 911."

"Call 911!"

"NOW!"

I demanded and crouched down to the floor, grabbing onto her chin and shaking her head side to side while lightly slapping the side of her face.

Fear rushed over my body as I tried everything that came to mind from all of the movies and shows I watched, CPR, the Heimlich, frantically slapping her face and thighs but nothing worked, nothing would wake her up.

"Oh no," I sobbed and shook her body. I felt little to no pulse coming from her.

"ELIO!" I shouted.

"THEY'RE COMING, HOLD ON!" He shouted from the other room.

"Stay with me, please," I begged, talking to her nonresponsive body, "Please."
