Jennie almost fell to the floor at the sight before her eyes. The blond girl's eyes were closed and she didn't even notice Jennie looking at her. All Jennie wanted was to leave that place as fast as she could. She was not so careful climbing down the stairs this time. She didn't care if someone could hear her. She just wanted to be out of that place.

She got into her car, driving to her place entirely on muscle memory, too shocked to pay any conscious attention to her surroundings. When she arrived in her apartment, she wasn't sure what to do. Her apartment? Probably not. Not now at least, because everything belonged to Lisa. Lisa, her cheating fiancé. Lisa, who had she trusted enough to build a life with. Lisa, the one she had allowed to be her son's mother. Lisa, who was giving head to some random girl.

What she would do? Pack her bags and leave? Or just wait for Lisa to get home and hear her lame excuse? There wasn't really an excuse for that, but she wanted to know what Lisa was going to say. She didn't allow her heart to break into pieces. No, she would not do that. Not again. She was too mad at Lisa to feel her heart being smashed.

So she would wait. Just wait. And she did. She sat on her couch and looked into the void, not thinking about anything in particular. Time passed, as it would. She felt her bladder fill and she could feel the urge to go to the bathroom. Her tiny human was basically squishing her bladder, and she could not hold it for very long, not when she was seven months pregnant. She was sitting on the toilet when she felt tears running down her face. No, she was not supposed to cry. She would not cry for Lisa. She would not cry for a cheater. But she did. It was unstoppable.

She hadn't heard the door opening, or the sound of someone entering the house. When her eyes focused again, she saw Lisa shaking her shoulder with a very concerned expression.

"Cupcake, what's wrong? Are you hurt?"

Jennie woke up from her trance, taking some toilet paper and pushing Lisa's hand from her. "Leave me alone." She said in a voice that didn't sound like her own.

Lisa's expression dropped to a scared one, as all the blood drained from her face. "Cupcake..."

Jennie stood up, ignoring Lisa completely. She made her way to the bedroom, getting under the covers and pulling them up to her nose. Lisa stood still in front of the bed for a moment before she climbed in too, touching Jennie's shoulder again.

"Don't touch me!" Jennie hissed.

"Jennie, you're scaring me." Lisa said feeling her throat tight.

Jennie raised her head from the covers, looking with rage in her eyes. "I'm scaring you? You broke my heart! You lied to me! What the hell do you want?"

Lisa raised her hands frustrated "What are you even talking about?"

"You don't know? Let me refresh your memory." She sat up on the bed, gesturing with her hands as she was speaking. "You quit your job a month ago and told me you got a different shift, but really you were just lying to me this entire time!"

"Damn it, I knew this would happen!" Lisa pinched the bridge of her nose, sitting on her folded legs. "You've got it wrong, Jennie."

"Are you saying you didn't lie? Can you be honest with me, at least now?"

"I'm not saying... Yes, Jennie, I lied to you. But it was for a good reason."

"Good reason? It's a good reason to sleep with a blond skank?"

"What? No! Jennie, I was working on remodeling a house for us! A house your father bought for us; the house I grew up in."

"Oh really?" Jennie crossed her arms, raising her eyebrows dramatically. "I guess you forgot to mention the house you were screwing that blond girl in!"
