Elizabeth's POV~

My alarm clock started to go off. I couldn't help but groan loudly while looking for the button to make the loud noise stop. I looked up to see that it was 7 am. Class starts at 8. I forced myself up and put on a black top with detached sleeves, a short white skirt that reached mid thigh and black knee high boots. I kept my hair down.

Its August, the weather in Britania would be perfect for the first week . Jumping out of my head, I grabbed my bag and keys. I knew this day was coming so I had pre-packed my car the night before. My sisters Veronica and Margaret were helping me all night. We had said our goodbyes then since each of us had to leave at different times today.

The more I thought of them the more I realized how much I was really going to miss them. Even though Mom has passed away, our father has never failed to take care of us and teach us. Giving us only the best.

I was walking along the sidewalk to the entrance of Camelot Academy. The most advanced education that colleges could offer where the only way of getting accepted is being hand chosen by the headmasters. In total there were Five of them but due to the holy war a thousand years ago, they are down to just four.

They select the students they believe are most compatible for their private lessons and special ops missions. I didn't read too much into it. I was just excited to have a life outside of the Palace.

I walked up to the grand entrance and opened the door. The sight was beautiful but short lived when a girl bumps into me. "Oh there you are. I texted you how come you haven't answered?" It was Diane.

"I'm so sorry, I was up all night packing and talking to my sisters" Diane was my rock in this world. She always knew how to make my life an adventure. I've known her since I was 13. We didn't get along at first but being the only girls at a boys party really helped us. Since then she's been my bestfriend.

"Its not like you aren't gonna see them again this summer" She giggled and I laughed a bit. "You know how they can get. Besides I'm still gonna miss them" I explained.

"Cheer up, you have me !" She yelled and wrapped an arm around my shoulders. I laughed while we walked on in for orientation.

Timeskip ~

After taking our seats, Diane kicked her feet up and called King. I looked at her explaining where she had sat and sooner than I expected he appeared in front of us with 4 of their other friends. Diane had told me about her group once before. Ban, Merlin, King, Gowther, Escanor and their Captain Meliodas all call themselves the seven deadly sins. All of them are already considered best of the elites and have created a name for themselves.

This is what I was missing out on all the time. I loved being homeschooled at the palace but it gave me little room to grow. In the end it did more harm than good. I've always felt the need to go on adventures, my days never being the same. Father just didn't allow us to leave unless absolutely necessary. I think it was more because of Mom than anything.

Diane wasn't homeschooled like I was so I got used to her being surrounded by people. Though whenever she hung out with me it would always be just her, she knew I can get uncomfortable with new people. Today I didn't mind though. Now was my chance to make friends with her and I wasn't going to let myself hold back.

"Hey Diane. Have you seen Elaine yet? Also Hi Elizabeth I'm glad you decided to come here with us!" King said, making me smile. He was the only other person from their group that I knew because of his relationship with Diane. She loved King. Diane just shook her head at his question. I watched them all sit and talk amongst themselves until I heard someone ask me something.

"Aren't you a Princess?" That guy was Ban. Diane had told me he was a pretty observant and knowledgeable guy when he wanted to be.

"I-uhh" Should I tell them? "My apologies Princess it's just that your earring has the royal crest" My eyes went wide and I began laughing, I could feel eyes on me.

"I completely forgot!!" I stated "I guess if I want to hide who I am I gotta take off the earring huh?" I glanced at Diane who was smiling at me.

"Or... you could leave it on and rock who you are. If people give you a hard time for it, tell us. A friend of Diane's is a friend of ours." King smiled at me making sure I knew his words were genuine. I couldn't help but smile back and say "thank you so much."

Headmaster Drafus walks in and silences us all. He stood up at the podium and began.

"Welcome to a new year at Camelot Academy where you will be tested and pushed beyond your very limits.
Each of you have been hand chosen out of the millions of applicants simply because you possess the raw power to change the world. We are here to teach you how to control your powers and to your benefit, how to magnify them. By the time you graduate you all will be soldiers. I expect punctuality, hard work and dedication. Remember that teamwork is your greatest ally and finally, have fun. Build relationships that won't be questioned on the battlefield and you will never fail. Enjoy your first week of school."

He got off the stage and room keys had been given out. This was the most magical school, Its terrible to think I never stopped to admire its beauty. It took after a more modern castle with a vintage Victorian style.

After we got our welcome packets and keys we all separated to find our dorms. The dorms were huge 3 bedroom apartments, everyone was assigned a room based on class and power level. When an emergency occurs, they'll assess the situation and call the dorm they need for backup based on the foes power level. The stronger we get the higher chances we have of battling. We battle against the demon clans Rebellion as well as the goddess clans Novas. Both groups wanting to rip the world apart.

I finished unpacking while thinking about the things I may see while I'm here. The amount of pain and happiness I would experience. I felt ready for it all. But.. how could I ever know for sure?

I laid down on the bed I had just made and rested my eyes for a while. Before I knew it I had drifted to sleep.
