THE OLD ME BACK

Chapter 25

"You've changed a lot, you know that?" Leana uttered after swallowing the food she was chewing on. I was still eating as if I didn't mind what she was saying. "You're not anymore Alesha I have known before."

Once in a while I stopped eating. I decided to drink first my iced tea before speaking up.

"Are you here to condemn me?" I seriously asked. She heaved a sigh and looked around before she finally took a glance on me.

"I'm your best friend, Alesha. You can't blame me why I am realizing this to you. We don't know what's happening in you and by that, we're concerned for you even you can't feel that from us."

"For all the things that I've been through, just this time leave it to me. I know what I am doing, Leana. In fact, I could get satisfaction whenever I saw them in pain." I uttered these words with courage and from my heart.

"You're not really Alesha anymore," she emphasized it to me again. "Before, you're afraid you would hurt people, but now it is very easy for you to do it. I remember you said to me before, you would be loyal to Hanky no matter what happened. But look at now, almost all the members of Boylight were your ex already."

Full decision I did, I walked out without a single word even if there are more food left on my plate. I simply lost my appetite because of this. I thought I could eat more than the usual because I was in a good mood earlier.

Hurriedly passing by the tables while the students were staring and murmuring about me, someone suddenly bumped his food tray to me. I was not able to get out from the cafeteria right away because she let me stop walking. She directly wiped my blouse using her handkerchief that got stains because of tomato sauce.

"GET OUT OF MY WAY, YOU PARASITE!" I shouted angrily, which made us the center of attraction now. She's now shaky as she stepped backwards with her knees trembling. "CAN YOU SEE WHAT YOU DID TO MY BLOUSE?! BACK OFF IF YOU WANNA LIVE STILL!"

"I'm sorry, Alesha. I didn't mean it. I'm sor---"

"SHUT UP!" I shouted again and passed her by right away. I don't want to waste my time accepting apology if it's already happened. Who is she for me to do it when my best friend I didn't put so much time for her a while ago?

As I got out from the cafeteria, many students were going to get in, mostly girls. We just passed us by to one another but what I noticed was no one greeted or waved his hand for me.

But the hell I care about those! Geez!

"Hi Alesha!" One guy approached me all of a sudden. "I liked you very much. If you want, I can be your boyfriend just for a day. Let's start now?"

I rolled my eyes, and lifted my eyebrow on him.

"I want to, but you're not even half of those Boylight. You're too far from my standards. In short, you are below qualified."

"Ouch, that hurts," he uttered after my real talk for him.

"Yes, it really hurts. So back off and give way."

I flipped my hair as I passed him by. I felt like I'm getting higher from my feet that should be looked up to. No doubt he would get hurt for what I said because that's true. He's just for girls who existed in this school like ordinary.

"Hey Alesha, where are you going?"

It's Thea with her friends again. I don't know what they are after me.

"Can we go with you?"

"Sure," I answered without giving a look on them. I need people who need me, too.

"We're going to the club, later."

"I'll go there," I replied right away. I had no second thought on this. My tongue longed for a taste of liquor.

"Look at this girl. Don't you know she got Zack and Winster and broke their hearts at the same time?" Someone courageously said that in front of my face so I got to stop walking. Thea and her friends were just behind me, so when I turned behind them, I caught them giving a threatened stare at them.

"Look at us, Alesha. How dare you do that to our idols huh?" My sight easily got back to them. She blocked my way and had her crossed arms while lifting up her eyebrow on me. Do this girl really look for a fight?

"If you really love your life, back off and disappear," I warned them, but they moved closer to me. Whoa, what section these girls were in who were trying to be brave?

"We are more than you. One move and you will get killed," Thea threatened her.

"Do you think we're weak enough as you see girls in here?" The other one firmly let words out from her.

"Yes, you're all weak!" Then I tweaked her hair with all my strength. She was shouting in pain because what was in my mind was to let her feel the pain. Is she triggering me off? You deserved that, poor.

When someone clutched me in my arms, Thea and her friends helped me to take away these parasites. Gosh, they're really getting me into nerves!

"YOU TWO TIMER! YOU'RE A SLUT! AAAAAHHH!"

"YOU'RE JUST ENVIOUS YOU CAN'T DO WHAT I CAN!" I responded in a shout.

"OUCH! OUCH! AAAAAHHHH!!!"

"NOW TELL ME IF YOU REALLY WANT A FIGHT!" I said those words through my gritted teeth.

"I HATE YOU ALESHA! WHAT A SLUT YOU ARE! YOU DESERVE TO BE BROKE! AAAAHHH!!! YOU--YOU WERE NOT LOVED BY HANKY EVEN JUST ONCE! HE JUST USED AND CHEATED ON YOU! AAAAAAHHHH!!!"

She really triggered me. At the end of this, she could not, in any way, blame me why she had already more hair falls on my both hands.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY?! DO YOU WANT TO GET BALD HUH?!"

"Hey! Stop them! That's Alesha, right?" One of the students panicked.

"Please, stop! Mrs. Lampasa will come any moment from now!"

"AAAAHHH!!! LEAVE US, IDIOT!" My rival shouted as she tried to take away my arms on her strands of hair.

"Stop that!" Someone intervened.

"YOU DON'T FVCKING CARE!" I shouted while my eyes are on this girl who were suffering of my tweak.

"I said stop!"

We're still in commotion when someone whose hand was wearing jewelry controlled us for a while.

"CAN'T YOU UNDERSTAND TO LEAVE US HUH? DO YOU WAN---" I got trailed off because of shock.

No way. She smiled but there was anger on her face. "Ms. Alesha and you all! Report to the office. Now!"

I'm dead.
