It was not until Lorelei jolted awake that she realised it was just another nightmare and she was not trapped in the hallucination of her own artificial abilities she had endured that very first time. The nightmare itself focused, mainly, on her first look at herself with her white tears and blank canvas eyes. It was a moment Lorelei would never forget, how frightening she had looked.

With a loud commotion outside, Lorelei immediately rolled out of bed as her body was filled with anxiety, a worry for Rachel's safety overlapping her own emotions and need to reground herself away from her nightmare. She rushed to put on her shoes, covering her bare arms with her comfortable jacket with her rushed speed before opening her door, hoping to assess the safety situation.

The moment the young mage opened her door, she was faced with Kory fighting a familiar redhead. The Doomsday cult was back for business, it seemed, as Kory shouted at Garfield to get Rachel to safety as the boy ran down the hall towards Rachel's room.

Murmuring a swear word to herself, Lorelei sprung into action immediately after realising the Doomsday cult had found them, connecting herself to the girl's mind to access any fears or indications she could use to help the fight. "She doesn't have any fears, any thoughts." Lorelei rushed out, earning the boy's attention as he joined the group, taking his fight with Lorelei as his sister remained fighting with Kory.

The boy landed the first punch, earning a groan from Lorelei as she scanned his mind that was equally as empty as his sister's. The young mage brought her hand to a first, landing an uppercut to the boy before kicking his stomach.

Her efforts were met with little to no payback as the boy aimed for Lorelei at almost perfect speed. Unfortunately for the boy, Lorelei was trained by none other than Batman himself as she instinctively moved back, grabbing the boy's foot with a tight grip just seconds before contact could be made.

Twisting his ankle, Lorelei quickly reached forward, pulling onto his hair as the boy landed an unexpected punch onto her jaw. With a wince, Lorelei tugged the boy closer towards her, a smirk forming on her lips before sending the boy a quick wink. The boy looked at Lorelei in confusion as her smile only grew at the distracted boy as she pushed his head back, smashing him into the wall.

With a glance over to Kory, who stood over the girl's body, a small nod was shared between the two before they rushed out of the motel, in hopes of finding Rachel safe with Garfield.

"What the fuck?" Lorelei muttered to herself as she felt a presence behind her, an instinctive knowing that the boy was not unconscious for long. "Help Garfield with Rachel." Lorelei ordered Kory, who nodded in response and let Lorelei with the waking siblings.

Turning around, Lorelei quickly dodged the boy's baseball bat, crouching down almost as quickly as she turned around - something that rolled away from him as he fought Kory before the young mage joined the fight - while the boy swung it at her.

Using the boy's bat to her advantage, Lorelei grabbed into it, tugging it towards her. Noticing the boy was not going to be letting it go easily, she swung herself to the side after noticing the redhead come back to the fight, the boy following his bat, a memorable whip tightening around her throat as his sister officially joined the fight.

Reaching for the whip, the boy let go of the bat, leaving Lorelei with a weapon. He was weak thanks to his newly broken ankle, something Lorelei took a note of - they could become injured. With a pleasant hum, Lorelei knocked the boy unconscious once again as the whip loosened around him once his sister quickly noticed she had the wrong person on her leash.
