❝MIGHT NOT MEAN THAT MUCH TO YOU
BUT TO ME IT'S EVERYTHING❞
ONE DIRECTION, TRULY MADLY DEEPLY
When Lorelei adjusted her position, sitting straight and peeking her head over Jason's shoulder from afar to see who brought a rude interruption, the young mage was met with an immediate slouch and internal groan. Despite her hopefully prediction of it being their slightly overbearing though very caring leader, it was Rose fucking Wilson.
The silver haired girl was the last person Lorelei needed to see, much less than Jason who had spent the better half of his night with her father. The same man who would have killed the young Robin if it had not been for the mystery boy in the infirmary.
The same cannot be said for Lorelei, who sat in guilt for her slippery bandaged hand with her focus resting on her pancakes and hearing towards the door.
"Good, you're both here." Rose said, having noticed Lorelei looking to see who was standing at the door. "Can I come in?"
Lorelei shifted her gaze slightly, allowing a better view of the door from her peripheral vision. "No." Jason stated, moments away from shutting the door on Rose.
"Wow, I know that look. He really did a number on you." She commented almost immediately, stopping Jason in his tracks. Could she not take a hint?
"You can leave now." The young Robin said, shutting the door.
With a sigh, Lorelei took a bite of her pancakes. Rose would leave eventually, she had to. And if she didn't, Lorelei would stop her. The young mage was already drowning in negativity from the night and her failure, adding anger into the mix was not a pleasant idea.
Rose being around her would bring that anger. She didn't trust the young girl, it was plain and simple. Her presence irked Lorelei so much. If you were to rank the Titans - whether new or former - on a scale of chilling with Rose to having a distaste towards her then Lorelei would certainly be at the top and off the charts for how little she liked Rose.
It was unfair to the girl, who stood no chance when Lorelei stubbornly decided not to like her without even knowing her or the extreme danger she was running from. The moment Jason paid her a compliment, just seconds after the decision was made, made her distrust and dislike solidified.
The door colliding with a foot could be heard as Lorelei looked up, noticing the door swing back open as the girl stopped Jason from successfully shutting the door. "You made it out alive from my dad. I thought you'd be... tougher." Rose admitted. "You know, your friends act like you're some type of fuck up but you're the only one doing anything. The rest of them just argue with each other."
The silver haired girl waltzed into the room, not daring to care for permission as Lorelei looked up, meeting her stare with a glare. Jason, too, held an unimpressed look as he swung his door closed. The young mage would give her ten minutes to leave, feeling more than generous in her state of mind.
She was tired. A fatigue beyond repair and even if she were to have a dreamless sleep - the young mage could only pray, though her artificial abilities would never lessen -, it would receive no payout. So with her state in consideration - almost a full twenty-four hours had passed since she last slept at this point -, Lorelei would pay her ten minutes to leave without a fight or argument.
And although Lorelei was truly unhappy with Rose barging into their night - Sunday night or not, interruptions were rude and especially when it came to her alone time with Jason -, she was too drained to fight. Though she would, if it came to it. Rose was the very reason Deathstroke was on their asses.
