North got tested and came out as pregnant.

My father was livid, my mom was happy, North was having her breakdown but I know she's happy and I feel perplexed in the corner, watching my sister being comforted by our mother.

Hindi ko alam kung ano ang mararamdaman ko. I should feel happy for her pero gusto ko ring malungkot. Inaamin ko na medyo nagseselos ako, hindi sa buntis siya kundi dahil sobrang saya niya. Vape was happy too, he's still on tears habang yakap-yakap ang test result ni North.

I tried to picture myself with a baby and Genesis in my side, a smile stretched into my lips as a warm touch my heart. The picture was beautiful, so satisfying and very fulfilling.

"I want a wedding before this month ends. I'm going to talk to Otto Miyashiro for the plans of.." Dad trailed, Vape nod in understanding.

"Oh, I'm so excited! I'm gonna hire the best organizer in the country!" Mom exclaimed.

"Mom, I want a long tail for my gown" sabi ni North. Nawala na ang luha sa mga mata at napalitan na iyon ng kinang at excitement.

"Sure, honey."

"South can help you too for the preparations" Dad looked at me.

Umiling ako bago namulsa. "Sorry, malapit na ang exams ko sa Force Academy."

That changed all their expression, except Vape who knew I always wanted to join the troop.

"We haven't talked about that yet, Southern" Dad said, brows knitting together.

Umiwas ako ng tingin bago namulsa. "Buo na ang desisyon ko."

I can only picture myself with a troop. Bata pa lang ako ito na ang nasa isip ko na gagawin ko paglaki. I like the idea of fighting for the country, the dignity it brings and the respect I get from the people. Gusto ko maglingkod sa bayan ko, gusto ko ang adventure na dala nito at higit sa lahat gusto ko may maipagmamalaki sa pamilya ko. Even if my Dad object my career choice. I want to do this with my own and prove them I wasn't bad making decisions for myself.
