CHAPTER THIRTY FIVE

SOUTHERN BENEDICTO

This wasn't in my plan.

I came to Athens with one solid goal in mind: kill all enemies that comes on my way. Nakahanda na ang lahat, nakaplano na ang bawat galaw ko, bilang din ang mga salita ko ngunit dumating lang si Genesis nagkanda-letse na ang lahat. The building I planned and build were slowly crashing down, turning everything into dust. Now I left with nothing.

Hindi ko alam kung papaano ako magsisimula muli pero isa lang ang masisigurado ko, hindi ako magpapatalo kay Genesis. If he thinks he already has me in his grasp, he has to think twice. Nakakalimutan ata niya kung sino ako.

As I think of a plan, the door burst open, revealing the spawn of Satan himself. He was clad in white button-down shirt, hugging his hips were black pants paired with Italian shoes. His hair looked like it was permanently disheveled, the mess matched his tired eyes. Hindi ko tuloy maiwasang maawa sakanya. Mukha siyang sumali muna sa giyera bago pumunta dito.

"What happened to you?" I asked blankly when our eyes met.

Dumiretso siya sa kama at padapang binagsak ang katawan dito. His arms were sprawled tiredly, shoulders slumped as he groaned turning his head on the side. Umikot ako sa kama para makita ang mukha niya. Nakapikit ang mga mata nito pero sumagot pa rin.

"Your stupid men caused havoc in one of my properties thinking I had you captive."

I scoffed. "Of course, sa tingin mo ba papabayaan nila ang prinsesa nila?"

"I killed them all," he said as if we're talking about foods and not lives.

I rolled my eyes then looked around me. Matapos niya akong kidnapin sa kulungan ko ay tinurukan niya ako ng sedative dahil sa pagwawala ko. Nagising nalang ako na nakadagan na sa akin ang tokmol at ang mga kamay ay kung saan-saan gumagapang sa katawan ko. I went berserk and that leads him to leave me alone for the moment as he went to "exterminate pests", his words not mine. Now that I'm slightly calm down, I let my eyes take in the minimalistic design of the room. Grey and white coloured the walls, matching the King size bed, the ceiling was adorned by circular chandelier, behind me was a floor to ceiling glass. May nag-iisang pintuan sa kanan ko tiyak na banyo iyon. Madilim sa labas ng glass wall kaya wala akong makita, hindi ko rin alam kung nasaan ako pero natitiyak ko na wala na kami sa Athens.

"Beautiful, isn't? This is one of my properties here in Istanbul."

My head snapped back to Genesis. "Istanbul? We're in Turkey!?" I exclaimed not so happy at all.

Genesis showed me his godamn toothy grin. "I know this is not what you expect. Dapat sa Scotland tayo magho-honeymoon pero may mga aasikasuhin pa akong mga trabaho dito. I hope you don't mind waiting for a bit but if you really want to taste this holy body," he gestured his body. "I won't mind."

Nagngitngit ako sa inis. Ang kapal lang talaga ng mukha ng tokmol na ito.

"Hindi ako interisado sa katawan mo." It was an obvious lie. His messy look was already making me squirm but of course I'd die first before admitting that to him.
