Crown Prince and Renowned General Iroh was left to grieve the death of his only son; Lu Ten at the outer wall of the capital of the greatest Earth Kingdom stronghold. He had lost his fighting spirit, and himself upon the death of his greatest pride on the frontlines. A retreat was ordered as General Iroh pulled away, abandoning his mission and disgracing the Royal family, the capital, and the Fire Nation.
Iroh was a lost spirit, traveling the world looking to fill the void and search for a way to enter the spirit world to find his son. It was said that he had succeeded, although no one was able to confirm this. Yet he had returned to the Royal Palace with a young girl who he claimed was his daughter.
Gossip would spread through the Fire Nation. He would say he had met a woman at the start of his scope of the Wall outside of Ba Sing Se. Spending time with her before he left to prepare for the siege in a few years' time. There was something ethereal about his daughter, a nature unlike any child her age, and eyes aged thousands of years. The Fire Nation had found joy in her promise subsequent to the embarrassment and deaths for naught in Ba Sing Se. After Azulon had fallen ill there was an alarm that he would die, he had felt the loss of his grandson and not wanting to ruin the lineage, he declared that the baby girl upon coming of age would become the successor to the throne. His son, Iroh was a lost prodigy that would be found; she would redeem Iroh and bring them glory.
