hungover as the fuck, i woke up next to nature surprisingly. we must've been hella drunk & i still have questions about what the fuck happened last night
i got out of bed quietly walking downstairs seeing glizzy watching tv .
" hey glizzy " ? " wassup " . he said not looking up from the tv
i simply smiled pouring me a glass of orange juice wondering who that girl was last night . " glizzy who is beatrice i kept hearing nature scream her name last night or maybe i was drunk " . i shrugged
he laughed " brea you mean " ? he blew a raspberry " she ain't nun but debo lil pet whatever he says she does " .
" why does everybody know her but i don't she lived in alabama right " ?
" yes but we ain't know you until senior year of high school " . he said referring to him and nahmir
" oh okay " .
nahmir walked in the living room handing glizzy a gun . wtf
" uh excuse me sir- " . nahmir looked over at me and smiled " hey baby " .
" don't hey baby me wtf is going on " ?
" we fi- " before he could finish glizzy hit the side of nahmir's arm
they both walked out the door as i heard the engine start . i shook my head in disappointment knowing they could be up to no good already
nature came down rubbing her eyes yawning " hey ".
i sighed " hey " . she walked over to the kitchen sitting at the island table " sorry for beating that bitch ass and getting us kicked out of the club " . she mumbled
i laughed " don't worry about it " . " but why did you fight her " ?
she groaned " it's like when i see her i see debo and i can't physically beat debo's ass so i beat hers " . she smiled
" so brea who is she really " ? i asked just because i still had more questions . " she's a nobody i don't know her personally but i've seen her a few times and fought her " .
" wait you fought her twice " ? ! i laughed
" yes but this was a really long time ago i think it's when i first gave birth to raine " .
" speaking of raine we should go visit her grave today " .
she sighed looking down maybe i spoke to soon . today does officially make it one year that raine has passed away .
" i'm just gonna go on home " . she frowned
" don't even worry about a uber i'll just take you " .
our ride was pretty weird just filled with silence i can tell she's trying her hardest not to think about it but it's eating her alive . she just wants to break down .
i parked in the drive way looking over at nature .
" na- " . she began to cry really hard as i threw my arms out for her
" i miss her toria i miss her so so so much " . she cried even harder
i couldn't even say anything, words wouldn't even come out my mouth i just sat there in silence crying as well . everything me and nature have ever been through is hitting me all at once so many emotions and bad memories
on the way back home i laid on top of nahmir as we watched a movie . i wasn't really paying any attention i just kept thinking about nature .
i heard my phone buzz on the other side of the room and i honestly didn't feel like getting up .
" it's the group chat ". nahmir said unlocking his phone
i sighed waiting for him to tell me what was being said .
" glizzy said get up and meet them at raine's grave " .
a tear slipped out my eye as i sat up " okay " .
i saw nature holding king as autumn placed flowers on raines grave .
" thanks for coming " . nature hugged me
i smiled looking at raine's tombstone . jay started passing out yellow balloons as sadé lit candles.
" we miss you rainey " . autumn said letting go of her ballon
" i love you babygirl " . nature cried letting go of hers and so did the rest of us
today's been a sad day but we got this as long as we got each other .
