The next day, Ian and I were at work. It was quiet, we hadn't had many customers today. Ian was in the back stocking the freezers, I sat behind the counter. Kash was somewhere in the aisles.
I had spoken too soon, suddenly the door swings open. Three figures enter. Mickey Milkovich and two of his brothers. They looked pissed.
"Ian Gallagher! You messed with the wrong girl!"
Out of the corner of my eye, Ian dashed out from the room behind the freezers and into the back room. The three brothers ran at the sight of Ian, they were too late. Ian had shut the door, Mickey began to bang against the door.
"Get out here Gallagher!" They were all banging, surely to break the door soon. I left my place behind the counter to run over. "Mandy told us what you did, you piece of shit!" Mandy must've told them Ian had tried to force himself on her.
"There's a door outback! He'll be outside by now!" I yelled, lying and hoping they'd leave. They stopped banging. Mickey glared at me before looking to his brothers, "Alley! Now." His brother ran towards the front door and out.
Before Mickey followed them, he got in front of me. "Thanks, doll face." I clenched my jaw glaring up at him. The dark-haired, dirty-faced boy leant closer, "And tell that fuckhead. This is not over," He bolted, knocking over crates as he headed out the door.
I looked up at Kash who had just been watching. Sure, let the kids handle it. I paused before moving to the door.
I attempted to look out, not before the door swung open again and I was re-faced with Mickey. He grabbed a candy bar off a shelf and began tearing it open. He kept a strange eye contact with me before trailing his eyes down and back up.
He smiled before he left. I waited, looking out to make sure he was gone. Looking over at Kash, I nodded.
"Ian, they're gone," He shouted through to Ian. There was a moment's hesitation before we heard a click and the door opening. Ian emerged looking shaken, "I swear to god. I didn't touch her, Kash." Kash nodded at him and placed a hand on his shoulder.

A little while later, I break away from the register to join Ian who was checking the aisles. "She know you're gay?" I wondered, Ian paused and looked down. "No...just you and Lip."
I leant my head on his shoulder, wrapping an arm behind his back. "Tell her...maybe she'll call off Mickey mouse and the clubhouse," I sighed. I felt Ian's shoulder shaking, he began laughing. "That was the worst..." he snorted.

We sent Ian to go and hide in the back of Kash's truck a little while before we closed up. Mickey and his brother were hanging about on the other side of the street. The watched closely when me and Kash left the shop without Ian.
