We went back to the house with Monica and Roberta. I could tell that without Fiona, however long Monica decides to stay was going to be a mess. She barely knew us, she didn't know how to take care of us.

My older brothers and I sat in our room on our beds, the door slightly open as to hear Monica and Roberta talk in the bathroom.

"So how long you plan on us staying here?" Roberta asked Monica, I laid on my back, staring up at Lip's bed as I listened.

"Did you see those kids' faces? Did you see the way they looked at me?" Monica replied, in my opinion, she deserves worse than a bad look.

"I'm not supporting seven kids," Roberta stated, "We get the DNA results tomorrow, it'll prove Liam's not Frank's, that way if the shit-head changes his mind, he can't take Liam back." My jaw tightened.

A DNA test? Those fucking bitches.

"Be quiet, they're sleeping!" Monica tried to shush her. "We are gonna make a great family. I am gonna take care of you and Liam like Frank never could." The pair began to giggle and they're voices got fainter.

I exhaled through my nose when I felt movement above me. Lip's legs dangled off his bed and in the dark of the room, I saw Ian sit up. I heard the click of a lighter and decide to roll over to my side and face the wall.

I closed my eyes and found my mind drifting to think about someone I shouldn't. I found myself caring if he was okay or not. I wanted to see him, to feel him. For the first time, in a long time, he's made me feel different.

I want to know what the hell was so intriguing about Mickey fucking Milkovich.

But I doubt he feels the same.

I sit up slowly one morning, Ian and Carl's beds were empty and I couldn't hear Lip above me. I stretched my arms above my head with a yawn, I must have slept in.

I hopped out of bed and slid on a black skirt and tights, then I pulled a long-sleeved grey shirt over my head and brushed my hair. I knelt on the floor and stuck my arm under my bed, searching around until I found both of my boots.

I slipped them on and headed downstairs.

I first noticed Monica signing a sheet of paper and saying, "You're going to the aquarium. When?"

"Today, I need $10," Carl told her. Lip stood next to Monica at the kitchen counter with an amused smirk.

"What for?" I looked at Roberta who was sat at the table with Liam. "Admissions fee," he replied.

"School doesn't pay for that?" Roberta scoffed, I sighed walking over to Ian who was drinking coffee at the breakfast bar. "No, and he'll need money for food," Lip snapped, eyeing her.
